Diagnostic Essay
The frontier is defined as the borderline between the wilderness and the town “that part of a country facing another country or an unsettled region.” According to historian Fredrick Jackson Turner, whose famous 1893 thesis announced the close of the frontier, the frontier is “the meeting between savagery and civilization” (Turner also believed that the frontier experience was central to American character, both collective and individual). For your essay, read the accompanying text and consider how the frontier has figured into American literature. Begin the essay by defining the frontier in your own terms. You might consider whether one should regard the frontier as a strict line of separation, a zone, a physical space, a psychological phenomenon within the self, a social divide, a complete fiction, or something else. How penetrable is it—can one cross over the boundary of the frontier; if so, what happens?

HAS 525 Brighton High Week 9 Revenue Management Cycle Discussion Writing Assignment Help
The mix of debt and equity financing used by an organization is called its capital structure. Many managers struggle with finding a balance between these two options. It is a critical decision as it impacts the organization’s assets, liabilities, and bottom line.
You are the business office manager for Hope and Healing General Hospital. The radiology department is considering purchasing a new, high-tech diagnostic machine. It has a high resolution and has resulted in more accurate diagnoses. The machine costs $200,000 dollars. The three options for financing are obtaining a bank loan with interest (debt) for the entire purchase price, buying it outright with no debt, or using venture capitalists (equity). You have been asked to prepare a memorandum for the hospital’s executive director with your recommendation.
In your memorandum, start out by reminding the executive director what debt and equity financing are. You will then comment on the pros and cons of each method. Also note which option you feel is the safest and which is the least safe option. Be sure to state why.
Instructions:
- Your initial post must include your memorandum.
- Reply to your classmates, comparing and contrasting the different approaches to the memorandum.
Willimena Morris,
Week 9 Discussion
MEMORANDUM
To: Business office Manager
Subject: Choosing The best alternative for financing the high tech diagnostic machine.
The Financing of an asset is considered to be the most crucial decision as it is concerned with the optimal allocation of funds so that it helps in improving efficiency and profitability. There can be different ways in which the financing can be done
Debt Financing means when a firm raises money for working capital or capital expenditures by selling bonds, bills, or notes to an individual or institutional investors. In return for lending the money, the individuals or institutions become creditors and receive a promise to repay the principal and interest on the debt.
Equity financing is a method of raising funds to meet the liquidity needs of an organization by selling a company’s stock in exchange for cash.
The main advantage of equity financing is that there is no obligation to repay the money acquired through it. Equity financing places no additional financing burden on the company. Since there are no required monthly payments associated with equity financing.
But then obviously, in order to gain funding, you will have to give the investor a percentage of your company. You will have to share your profits and consult with your new partners any time you make decisions affecting the company.
Which are the best alternatives?
Ultimately, the decision between debt and equity financing depends on the cost at which you can raise equity and debt and along with what your competitors are doing. If you are considering selling equity, do so in a manner that is legal and allows you to retain control over your company.
Even you can use a mix of both types of financing, in which case you can use a formula called the weighted average cost of capital, or WACC, to compare capital structures. The WACC multiplies the percentage costs of debt and equity under a given proposed financing plan by the weight equal to the proportion of total capital represented by each capital type. since equity financing is a greater risk to the investor than debt financing is to the lender, the cost of equity is often higher than the cost of debt. So for financing equity is a safer option
Yours Sincerely
Business Office Manager

UCF The Stonehenge Discussion Humanities Assignment Help
First one :
1. One interesting thing I learned from this video is that there are not just big stones for the Stonehenge, but also little stones and they are just as important, known as the “Blue Stones.” These stones were transported from Whales.
2. The original purpose for the Stonehenge was to act like a cremation center where bones and human material were buried within the circle. Today, these bones and parts are being dug up today to analyze them and figure out how those people used to live what they did. I would have never guessed that this location would have been used as a cremation site.
3. One final takeaway from this interesting video was how the people who built the Stonehenge felt about it. It was not just a burial ground, but was also predicted to be related to the Summer and Winter Solstices as some sort of astrological instrument. Whoever these builders were, they were very smart and precise with what they were doing because of how accurate their measurements were.
Second one :
This was a fascinating and insightful video! Before watching this video, I had minimal prior knowledge of Stonehenge. While watching the video, I thought it was very interesting that there have been so many questions surrounding the making of Stonehenge. As the video explains during the making of Stonehenge, a lot of human effort was required. The video ponders on several questions surrounding Stonehenge, such as how humans were able to move the rocks without modern-day technology. I also found it interesting how the archaeologists were able to return to the Stonehenge and determine the age and gender of those buried there. Their findings show that the majority of the buried bodies were mainly men as the video suggested, this may be because people who were more respected in the community such as the political realm were chosen to be laid to rest. Remarkably, they were able to determine this with such minimal evidence beyond small bone remains.

National Healthcareer Association As you progress through your education, there will be a variety of opportunities to sit for a certification exam. It is not a matter of which is better, more important, or valuable: degrees or certifications, both are. It is a matter of has your degree prepared you to sit for a specific certification exam, what are the base requirements for the position you seek, and what do you have time for. A degree may be as short as 6-8 months for a certification program, 1 ½-2 years for an associate degree, four years for a bachelor’s degree, and so on. Generally speaking, it is best to obtain the degree, practice in the field, then earn the certification. Some certifications require experience in the field. The certificate at Grantham is six courses, 18 credits, and for most students take between 6-8 months. They provide a good chance to seek entry-level positions in health care specific to the certification. As part of the certificates, you may sit for an entry-level certification exam. These are provided through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Our associate degrees also provide for this same certification, specific to the degree. NHA does not require you to be a part of a school or a program to practice in its portal and site for a certification exam. If you find yourself in a position where this is not a part of your program, you may contact NHA for more information Explore the NHA site and the certifications. Measurements Error and General Experimentation Techniques Lab Report Science Assignment Help
Assignment
Lab 0 covers measurements, error, and general experimentation techniques. It is meant to help provide the tools to better perform future labs. A pdf version of the lab is available, as well as a docx version of the lab. (****attached below)
Assignment Details
This assignment is usually performed in person. It has been adapted to be able to be performed at home. There are several points I wish to note:
- The report has a lot of introduction. The problems start about halfway through (so it is not as long as it looks).
- It also mentions the use of a ruler and a meter stick; if you do not have these available at home, you can use any set length object (like a certain size shoe, or a piece of letter paper, or a cord that you know the length of).
- Whatever you choose to use, convert your length into meters, or centimeters. This can be done by looking up how many centimeters are in a certain size shoe, or a similar approach.
- If you have any questions, reach out to Professor Crockett or myself. We are here to guide you. I will also be able to give guidance during my zoom sessions. Those are (Wednesday 9-11, 2-5) and (Friday 2-4).
Grading
Labs are graded out of twenty points. When grading, Professor Crockett and I are looking for correct answers, thoughtful discussion, clean graphs, and units when appropriate. There is a small credit reward for attendance. This lab is due Friday 8/21 by midnight.
Submission
Work can be done electronically on the original document, or by hand on printouts/extra paper. When finished, upload the file as a pdf to this assignment by clicking Submit Assignment at the top.
