Read the linked article. Apple had released security related code that included an additional line that prevented valid credentials from working. Basically, the code was testing conditions to see if it should report a failure. Because the IF conditions did not use code blocks, an extra line was executed in all cases.

This is a discussion question that requires a detailed answer. The course is operations management and does require a textbook which I could somehow provide the page that is needed to complete the assignment. I just expect for all of the question to be answered thoroughly and correctly. The questions are listed below.

• Question 1 In about one paragraph, provide a managerial insight as to what you would do in the situation raised in the end of the “Ethical Dilemma” at the end of chapter 2 (see page 51).
• Question 2: First, read the article “Insights into Business Education” published by Birmingham Business Journal (download it from this module; then print it out and read it very carefully). As you learned from Ch2, Strategies go with Missions. So, you need to first brush up on the relationship between Mission & Strategy and also how to do SWOT Analysis (all covered in Module2 — Ch.2).
  • For Question2, you should first State the Mission of Collat School of Business (see school’s website). Then do a detailed SWOT analyses in a 2X2 matrix (i.e., table) that could be used to develop a 10-year Strategic Plan for the school. Base your SWOT analysis on what you learned from reading the Birmingham Business Journal article and other sources. Be sure to cite every source you used. While you should not develop the 10-year Strategic Plan itself, you need to explain how you will bolster the strengths and capitalize on the opportunities that you identified. We highly recommend that you use either the JBI Hierarchy of Evidence or Melnyk’s of evidence (as noted in the “Steps” series) to rank your evidence.

You should develop both an evidence table (see EBP project proposal paper template) and narrative synthesis. You need to write a very clear, descriptive and in-depth narrative synthesis 4-8 pages) of evidence so they reveal the current state of knowledge on the topic (see sample integrative reviews). Include in the narrative the following:

• Description of common themes found in the literature/sources.
• Identification of consistencies and contradictions in the literature/sources.
• Identification of gaps in the existing body of knowledge.
