DePaul University Artist Is Placing Her Career Ahead of Her Personal Life Summary Writing Assignment Help. DePaul University Artist Is Placing Her Career Ahead of Her Personal Life Summary Writing Assignment Help.
The character of Thea Kronborg in Willa Cather’s The Song of the Lark is not necessarily lauded as a protagonist of heroic proportions or even a character it’s easy to get behind.
“The growth of an artist is an intellectual and spiritual development which can scarcely be followed in a personal narrative. This story attempts to deal only with the simple and concrete beginnings which color and accent an artist’s work, and to give some account of how a Moonstone girl found her way out of a vague, easy-going world into a life of disciplined endeavor. Any account of the loyalty of young hearts to some exalted ideal, and the passion with which they strive, will always, in some of us, rekindle generous emotions” (Cather 307).
We follow her development through childhood and into young adulthood, observing her struggles and joys in the forming of her identity, in her relationships, and in her artistic formation. We see her defense of the Mexicans and their lifestyle to her own sister, her dedication to her work and growth as a singer, her exploration of new cultures, sites, and lifestyles as she travels the world, and her life-long friendship with Dr. Archie. We also speculate about her racism, observe as she chooses to stay in Europe instead of return home to be at her dying mother’s bedside, and witness her disdain for lesser artists and the ignorant fans who cheer for them. To some, Thea is a difficult character with whom to sympathize, and to others, her devotion to her voice–her art–establishes her as a consummate artist and musician whose behaviors are understandable if not expected of a true artist.
To what extent are Thea’s difficulties and challenges as an artist of her own making?
Please consider at least one difficulty, hardship, or challenge Thea faces as an artist and explain how it is of her own making or how she brought it on herself. Please rely on the text to support your claims. You may approach this question at any point in her life. In your answer, please feel free to refer to dignities, indignities, toils, suffering, industriousness, mental or intellectual work, physical work, subduing the earth, the necessity of rest, that “man develops through love for work” (Laborem Exercens), and any other concepts introduced thus far in this course. You may also incorporate dimensions to art and work that we have not discussed.

DePaul University Morning Bird Songs that Give Young Laborershope Response Writing Assignment Help
In Book II, chapter 2 of Cather’s The Song of the Lark, Thea, after having moved to Chicago, finally visits the Art Institute. After observing several oeuvres, she finds herself particularly taken by Jules Breton’s “The Song of the Lark.”
This 1884 painting was, in fact, one of the Art Institute of Chicago’s first acquisitions and faced the jeopardy of permanent removal by the artistic director at the time. For more on this interesting backstory, please listen to the following audio file:
https://www.artic.edu/assets/93d0e3a0-ab3c-decf-38da-5e9b2581a276
One of the criticisms of this painting is similar to a criticism of Realism’s Local Colorist writings. The painting, realistic as it appears, seems to romanticize the incredible hard work of a field worker; it makes the peasant girl’s toil in the fields look beautiful. Similarly, the Local Colorists, through realistic depiction, romanticized the abandoned rural villages and deserted seaside towns, lending to an unnecessary sentimentality unpopular at the time.
Of particular note with regard to this one-time most famous of American paintings is that its title refers to a different medium of art: music. An auditory title is used for a visual art. In his depiction of a young peasant woman standing in the field of her labor at sunrise, not only is the song absent, but so is the lark. (Or are they?) Birds are depicted, but most do not identify these as the lark that is singing, nor as larks at all.
A few things to observe include that the peasant is a young girl, that she is captured in mid-step, that she holds a scythe, that the scythe is not fully lowered, that she is barefoot, that she walks a trodden path, that she is surrounded by fields and sky, that it is sunrise, that birds are flying overhead: https://www.artic.edu/iiif/2/da63fb3d-21ad-4e0d-6dda-bb1e0685ecdb/full/843,/0/default.jpg
What do we know from the painting—or what can we assume—about the lark’s song the peasant girl hears?
OR
In what way(s) does this painting visually depict auditory birdsong, or, the song of the lark?

Question 2:Case Analysis
Care, a health consultancy company in Saudi Arabia, is studying the economic benefits of a program of preventative COVID-19 flu vaccinations. Care has to give advice to government for COVID-19 vaccination. If vaccinations are not introduced then the estimated cost to the government if flu strikes in the next year is SR.70m with probability 0.1, SR.100m with probability 0.3 and SR.150m with probability 0.6. It is estimated that such a program will cost SR.70m and that the probability of flu striking in the next year is 0.75.
One alternative open to the committee is to institute an “early-warning” monitoring scheme (costing SR.30m) which will enable it to detect an outbreak of flu early and hence institute a rush vaccination program (costing SR.100m because of the need to vaccinate quickly before the outbreak spreads).

Boundary between Reality & the Unreal World in The Headless Woman Film Discussion Writing Assignment Help
Film reflection
Headless Woman
3 Page , double space, not include picture
Please based this idea.
For my final project I would like to talk about the film Headless Woman, the boundary between reality and the unreal world. The whole expression of the film is completely ambiguous, and the content presented is in a vague situation, I want to talk about it deeply from this point .
Like at the beginning of the accident of the car , she didn’t know what she hit and we either. The collision with the dog may not be the cause of her memory loss, but it may be an entrance to reality from her personal space.
The hand print on the window, the missing report, the missing open room record, the boundary between the real and illusory is extremely ambiguous in this movie.
I would like to talk about these three pictures, in the first picture that the little boy left his hand print on the window, but we have no idea where the print is from in the second picture. All the plots are fragmentary, but the editing is full of power. The pictures are often divided, the characters’ heads are split, and the memories are washed by rain which relates to the third picture, and the reality is gradually blurred until we all return to the illusory.
The headlessness is not only the use of a picture frame to cut off her head, but also the amnesia state of the individual characters. The car accident is just a cause, and it is a way for her to enter the search and torture of herself. The phenomena discovered in the process of self-searching are the real ones. In the noisy state, the bewildered behavior of the heroine, who was in a gathering place of various people, contrasted with her confused state. It was about the struggle of morality, and then about the real environment and her own “imaginative” search, looking for In the process, the reverse metaphor of the social behavior of people around her reflects the current situation in Argentina.
What we see is the heroine’s doubts and anxiety about her own judgment. Without waiting for moral high pressure, she has launched a trial for her crimes in her heart.
The impact of the car accident creates a space-separated factor, forming a continuous state of consciousness, blending consciousness and mood, showing her moral self-blame all the time, scattered and spreading in the chaotic fragmented life. The state reflected in her is the anxiety/vertigo of middle-class social life, the imbalance/loss of self-consciousness.
The ambiguity (uncontrollable) in the film is like real life. The distance between the character and the environment presents a sense of dissociation, and this sense of dissociation fits well with the psychological state of the character. We don’t know what happened, and we don’t need to know.
In the film, she always tries to recall the whole picture of the event, and the audience is constantly trying to construct the overall impression. The heroine looks around, and the audience keeps staring at her: a kind of intertextuality of viewing has been produced. A woman wanders in a life scene that does not seem to belong to her, acting as a “framework” role. When she finally finds that all the evidence supporting her experience no longer exists, she has already realized the hypocrisy around her life. The interpersonal relationship was pierced one by one, and a sudden emptiness attacked her. She recognized hypocrisy but could not fight the emptiness, so in the end she went back to her original life and separated from the people around her.
Involving the “world” from the “self”, it also seems to affect the “self” from the things of the “world”, but this is completely different from the “world system” that I know well. The entanglement between the macro and the micro seems to show the audience the historical social class interpersonal and self, but there is no answer or result for all this, leaving the audience as clueless as the “headless woman”.
Headless is also the lack of identity, wandering in panic.
