For this assignment, you must read Meinig’s essay (available by clicking here) Download (available by clicking here) and chapter 15 of the Wallach book (Understanding the cultural landscape) In the essay, familiarize yourself with the ten different types of landscape views that Meinig describes. In chapter 15, Wallach highlights cultural responses to the modern world from within the global West, specifically what he describes as romanticism and postmodernism. As he does throughout the book, Wallach provides many specific examples, but focus your attention on understanding the broader themes of the chapter. This discussion asks you to apply ideas from the Meinig essay and the Wallach chapter to each of three photographed scenes. You are welcome to write about any suitable photograph of a publicly visible scene. In most cases, the scene will be outdoors, but publicly-accessible indoor spaces, such as a shopping mall, would be fine, too. Two websites to get you started are my own collection of geographical photos and Wallach’s “Great Mirror”, but you are not limited to these.
Write a separate post for each photograph you share, including the following:
one to two paragraphs that interpret the image, eitheras an example of at least two different views described by Meinig (e.g., landscape as wealth and landscape as habitat), OR
as an illustration of the romanticism or postmodernism discussed by Wallach

a link to your selected photograph, so that your classmates may easily view it and also comment in response
I added an example of how the assignment would look in the files these are references please do not copy them
