I really need help doing this XBRL Audit Business Finance Assignment Help
I need the wk 2 & 3 to be edited. I do not need the screenshots.
XBRL Audit Instructions
With this project you will explore Starbucks’ use of XBRL in filing 10-Ks with the SEC. This audit will
require you to look at the underlying data in the electronic filing of the 10-K of Starbucks in comparison
to the data contained within the Enterprise System of Starbucks and tie those numbers based on the
XBRL tags in the FASB Codification database. Below you will find links to a couple of different files and
tools you will need to complete this Audit:
10-K of Starbucks – File sbux-10k.html
XBRL of Starbucks 10-K – File sbux-XBRL.xml in the Files section of the Course Menu
Download Microsoft XML Notepad (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7973)
FASB Codification (http://www2.aaahq.org/ascLogin.cfm)
It has come to the attention of Starbucks’ management through an inquiry by the SEC that irregularities
have been detected by the SEC’s
Accounting Quality Model (a.k.a. RoboCop).
Your task is to research the irregularities, audit the financial statements, and correct the irregularities to put Starbucks back in good standing with the SEC. Your corrections should accompany a formal memo to the SEC explaining the remedy of the irregularities.
Week 1
: Download the materials provided and install Microsoft XML Notepad on your computer. Read
over the financial statements and make sure your professor had given you access to the FASB
Codification.
Week 2
: Use the following data to help you hone in on the financial statement irregularities:
1) The SEC has indicated that the cash carrying value transmitted in the XBRL file does not tie
to the balance sheet number in the printed copy of Starbucks’ 10-K. Find the XBRL element
in the FASB Codification, search the XBRL/XML file, and reconcile the 10-K to the XBRL file
and correct the error. Once identified use a text editor to correct the issue.
2) The value transmitted to the SEC for accounts payable is incorrect as compared to the 10-K.
The error is causing the right side of the balance sheet equation to be off by double the
account’s total value. Find the XBRL tag in the FASB Codification, search the XBRL/XML file,
and reconcile the 10-K to the XBRL file and correct the error. Once identified use a text
editor to correct the issue.
3) The value of retained earnings is overstated as compared to the 10-K. Find the XBRL tag in
the FASB Codification, search the XBRL/XML file, and reconcile the 10-K to the XBRL file and
correct the error. Once identified use a text editor to correct the issue.
4) The Company-operated stores Net Revenue number is understated due to a typographical
error. Find the XBRL tag in the FASB Codification, search the XBRL/XML file, and reconcile
the 10-K to the XBRL file and correct the error. Once identified use a text editor to correct
the issue.
Week 3
: Correct the errors in the XBRL file based on your previous week’s audit. Deliver the modified
XBRL file. Use Microsoft XML Notepad or Notepad to make your modifications. Make sure your file is
well formed when you save it.

Identifying Monitoring & Controlling PM Processes Business Finance Assignment Help
The movie “Moneyball” can be viewed through the framework of project management. Billy Beane, played by actor Brad Pitt, is the General Manager of the Oakland A’s baseball team. He has lost all his best players and he sets out on a mission to change the way his baseball team is organized. While the management of a baseball team would normally be viewed as operations management, the new style of management that Beane tries to create would fit within the scope of project management.
For this assignment, as we watch the movie, you will be required to address the following questions and answer them. The assignment will specifically be dealing with the monitoring and controlling of the project.
Your paper should be Times New Roman, 12pt font and double spaced. Margins of the paper should be 1”. Do not allow your margins to be reduced by utilizing bullet point margins. This will lead to point deductions. Only Kloppenborg textbook needs to be cited; do not worry about citing the movie.
Question #1 (1 full page)
The definition of a project as provided by Kloppenborg (2019) is “a new, time-bound effort that has a definite beginning and a definite ending with several related and/or interdependent tasks to create a unique product or service.” How does this definition fit the efforts of Billy Beane versus just operations management?
Question #2 (~5 pages or 1 page each process)
Select 7 of the project management processes below. For each of the 5 you must 1) provide a brief description of each process, 2) describe how Billy Beane manages this process, and 3) provide a specific example of the management of this process from the movie and why this is a good example.

discussion paper business ethics Business Finance Assignment Help
The discussion paper must be at least three pages in length (double-spaced, 12-inch Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins). I expect the paper to be at least that length. Do NOT write less than this or use bigger margins or fonts.
I also want to emphasize this is NOT a research paper. You should not use any outside resources or attempt to do research to write this paper. Simply read the assigned readings, reflect on the questions below, and write a paper that responds to those questions.
For this assignment, please read the two files I uploaded.
The discussion paper should respond to each of the issues/questions below:
We have recently considered the question of whether it is ethically permissible to be deceptive in business, or whether there is an ethical obligation to be honest/truthful. Holley discusses the ethical issue of deception and truthfulness in a particular area of business: Sales. He argues that a seller has some degree of obligation to disclose information and tell the truth to a buyer. However, the question is what degree of information disclosure/honesty is required? Holley presents five different degrees or levels of requirement, ranging from a low/undemanding requirement, all the way up to high/very demanding requirement.
1) Briefly explain which level of requirement Holley endorses.
2) Do you agree or disagree with Holley? Why or why not?
3) If you do not agree with Holley, which alternative level of requirement would you endorse and why?
4) What would the requirement that Holley endorses say about the World Camera case? Did the sales person do anything ethically wrong? Why or why not?
5) If you endorsed a different level of requirement than Holley, what would the requirement that you endorse say about the World Camera case? Did the sales person do anything ethically wrong? Why or why not?

You can complete this assignment after reading Chapters 3 and 4 in your textbook and Writing Assignment 2 reading. The problem involves selecting a major vendor through comparative analysis.
Writing Requirements
This assignment is the first of four steps in completing the business memorandum. This assignment will require you to:
- Solve a statistics problem – you will solve the statistics problem and include it in this assignment (in the appendix.) – You will use the calculations you complete to inform the recommendation you make for this problem.
- Answer the problem questions included in the assignment template -through doing this you will articulate an understanding of the problem and what you are being asked to do with that problem, the value of the statistical calculation to addressing the problem, and who the audience you are asked to address is and how their role and status will influence what and how you write your memorandum.

To complete this assignment you will use:
- The Business Memorandum Template – open this template and complete the assignment in it
- The Business Memorandum Guide – this will provide guidance on the content of the memorandum
- The problem description below – this is the statistical problem you will address.
You may also reference the Business Memorandum example to see what the completed assignment will look like.
What will you be graded on?
This assignment will be graded on completeness ONLY. However, it is the document on which you will get feedback from your classmates, so you should produce your best work, in order to get the best possible feedback. Be sure to look at the assignment rubric to assure that you have completed the required elements prior to turning in the assignment.
Problem Description
In this section, you will find a description of the problem, requested recommendation and audience for the final memorandum for this assignment. This problem will require you to write clearly about a particular part of a car. If you are not familiar with the workings of a car engine a simple google search for videos about the particular component of the motor you will be writing about will allow you to write about it accurately.
Description:
You are a line manager in Super Car Part’s Eversville manufacturing facility. The company produces automotive parts, and you have responsibility for the line producing steel shafts for the gearbox manufactured in the Eversville Plant. The acceptable dimension of the shaft is 2.5±0.05 inches in diameter with the most desirable product having a diameter of exactly 2.5 inches. The current equipment is approaching the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. Two vendors are trying to sell your company, Super Car Parts Incorporated, their machines for the shaft-machining task. You have been asked to assess the machines from each vendor, and to make a recommendation for a machine vendor supported by a justification for your decision.
You asked both vendors to supply data on the machining accuracy of their machines for the given task. Both vendors machined 100 shafts, collected data, plotted histograms, fitted the histograms with normal distributions and supplied you with their findings.
Let X= diameter in inches of the gearbox shaft
Aballo Machines Inc.: X has a normal distribution with a mean of 2.49 and a standard deviation of 0.030
Lu Equipment Corp.: X has a normal distribution with a mean of 2.53 and a standard deviation of 0.015
Audience: You are creating this document for the company’s Chief Operating Officer (Links to an external site.), Lenore Georges, and copying the Chief Financial Officer, (Links to an external site.) Anahita Kourosh. Documents involved in major financial decisions like this may also be distributed by the addressees to other executives and the corporate board members.
Tone: The Audience for this document requires that the style is precise and professional.
- Utilize plain language when describing your analysis, as you cannot assume all readers will be statistically literate. However, there are also some who will understand statistics and will want to understand the statistical logic that you used to determine your recommendation.
- Start the document with a summary that readers can read to understand the essential elements of the document – the context of the issue, what is being examined and how, and the recommendation you will make.
- Develop the document around a direct, coherent message (thesis), and clear evidence to support it.
- Do not use contractions, slang or colloquialisms (Links to an external site.), clichés (Links to an external site.), abbreviations, or text message shortcuts.

I need someone to do the video for literature class Humanities Assignment Help
Literature isn’t just bound to slices of dead trees. For this assignment, you’ll find a piece of digital literature and complete the process of defending and analyzing its place beneath the literature umbrella. You’ll post the screen-captured video of yourself walking us through the piece of digital literature to this discussion board, write a short (250 word) meta letter discussing the nature of digital storytelling as you understand it, and then must respond to at least three of your classmates’ videos/letters by class time March 25th in order to earn the full points.
Here’s the assignment sheet with further details on this project.
You may find this video on using Open Broadcasting Software to screen record (Links to an external site.) useful.
As a quick note because I’ve been hearing from some of you on this point, the best way to upload your demo videos for the Digital Monstrosity assignment is to upload the videos to Youtube and then embed that Youtube link in your discussion board post. Canvas struggles with large video files, so embedding from another site is easiest.
here is an example for the video style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gbC9ULWNvw (Links to an external site.)

The Odyssey, dir. Andrei Konchalovsky Writing Assignment Help
Entertaining adaptation of Homer’s epic poem that you may enjoy watching, directed by Andrei Konchalovsky. Originally a 1997 mini-series, here edited down to a 3-hour film. Not great art, but fairly faithful to the plot.
For extra credit, pick three scenes from the film (one from each hour, approximately beginning, middle, and end) and explain how they parallel and differ from Homer’s poem. This may be either plot or characterization: in other words, what’s similar and/or different about what happens or how people behave?
You’re advised to read the Mark Fiore summary first (long version, preferably) to give you a complete grounding in the poem before beginning your paper. 1000 words/3 pages, double-spaced. 12-pt. type. Submit through the EX CR essay portal under Assignments for an extra 10 points!
This optional assignment is a good means to make up points lost from a missed assignment or poor exam score. Note that the deadline is not until the end of term, so always focus on the required materials first and foremost.

Examine how different cultures are incorporated into a single society can offer insight in ethnic group Writing Assignment Help
Prior to beginning work on this Final Paper, ensure that you are caught up on the textbook reading and review the following resources:
· What History Tells Us about Assimilation of Immigrants (Links to an external site.)
· How Boarding Schools Tried to ‘Kill the Indian’ Through Assimilation: Native American Tribes Are Still Seeking the Return of Their Children (Links to an external site.)
· Chef Marcus Samuelsson Visits Detroit’s Most Exciting Young Pastry Chef – No Passport Required (Links to an external site.)
· The New Orleans Convenience Store With Legendary Vietnamese Chicken Wings – No Passport Required (Links to an external site.)
· Food Is Not Only Culture, It’s Diplomacy: Leah Selim at TEDxGowanus (Links to an external site.)
Examining how different cultures are incorporated into a single society can offer insight into the ethnic group relations of that society. There are different ways in which ethnic groups experience assimilation, depending on the ethnic group’s origins in society. Many ethnic groups immigrate to a new country—often fleeing conflict in their home country—to make a better life for themselves and their families. Many ethnic groups perceive the United States as a country with greater economic, political, and social opportunities, and therefore, many immigrate to the country. Conversely, other ethnic groups are considered native or indigenous to a country and contact other ethnic groups through colonization: for example, Native American tribes in North America under British colonization. In both cases, ethnic minorities are expected to assimilate to the culture and behaviors of the majority, dominant group.
In the Final Paper, you will investigate the connection between culture, assimilation, and ethnic relations in society. A spectrum of possibilities exists when considering the degree to which ethnic groups assimilate to mainstream society, from completely adopting the new culture to maintaining their own cultural traditions and differences. Meaningful cultural symbols, such as traditions surrounding food, cooking, and eating, play a role in how ethnic groups both assimilate to new cultural norms and maintain their own unique traditions. They also assist in measuring the degree to which assimilation has occurred.
In your paper, include the following sections/components:
Introduction (two to three pages): Define the concept of assimilation and explain what happens to an ethnic group’s culture when they follow a model of full assimilation, evaluate how the degree to which an ethnic group assimilates contributes to and reinforces existing ethnic hierarchies, and explain if mainstream society is more welcoming to newcomers if they assimilate or if they retain some of their own cultural customs.
Body (about four to five pages): Explain how assimilation differs for ethnic groups that immigrate to a new country versus indigenous ethnic groups and analyze how cultural symbols—such as food—play a role in assimilation. The body of your paper should address the following:
· In what ways are immigrant groups expected to assimilate to mainstream culture? Why is assimilation to mainstream culture encouraged? In other words, why are ethnic groups encouraged to adopt the culture of their new home rather than maintain their own cultural traditions?
· Describe how the United States government forced the assimilation of Native American children. What purpose did this forced assimilation serve and whom did it benefit? What might today resemble if Native Americans had not been forced to assimilate?
· Researchers often measure the degree to which an ethnic group has assimilated by looking at cultural practices: things like food, dress, and language. Explain, using the resources provided, the importance of food as a cultural symbol for ethnic groups. Why might an immigrant group resist adopting to the cultural food norms of the mainstream culture? What strategies do immigrant groups use to overcome this? What do the traditions surrounding food (e.g., who cooks it, how it is prepared and served, when and where it is eaten, etc.) reveal about an ethnic group’s culture? How can food, and the customs surrounding it, facilitate greater peace and understanding between ethnic groups?
Conclusion (two pages): Provide an example of your own ethnic or racial traditions surrounding food. Where did these traditions come from? How far removed are you from your ancestors who first immigrated to this country? If you were to move to a new country today, would you want to maintain these traditions or would you be willing to give them up to assimilate to the customs of your new home? What is another cultural symbol that an ethnic group may want to keep rather than assimilate into mainstream culture? To sum up the Final Paper, why are cultural symbols so important to ethnic groups?
