1. List 5 topics you might consider writing about with a sentence or two about what your thesis statement might be for each topic. To generate topics, you may use journal writing, freewriting, listing, or clustering to generate topics. Review Chapter 3 in your textbook. (The writing of thesis statements is discussed in chapter 4 on pp. 44-47; in ch. 3, it does discuss each of the strategies for generating topics on pp. 36-38. Thesis statements are also discussed in ch. 25 on pp. 313-314.)

Use the two works provided in the requirements to create an argumentative essay defining happiness. Writing Assignment Help

It should be about 8 pages long (double-spaced,12-point font). Concentrate on creating a real argument, not just listing observations about the works (I should be able to disagree with your paper, while still thinking it’s good work). Don’t forget to end your opening paragraph with a question and answer that question in the conclusion.

Use these two works that engage with the question of happiness: what it is, why it is important to the individual or to society, etc. Which work do you think offered up the best definition of happiness, or the best case for its social/personal importance? The worst? Which author was most concerned with happiness? Least? Do you think a literary work should even bother setting out a theory of happiness, or is that up to each individual to figure out for themselves?

Preschool Child Writing Assignment Help

For those of you do not have access to an ESOL child – you are given the option to watch videos. The researcher who carried out this case study has provided these videos. So you have a description of the child, pre-assessment, visits with the ESOL children and post-assessment. Look through the modules and attach all scanned work with your description or in the appendix. For the pre-assessment and post-assessment use the rubric/matrix to indicate their levels. The parent interview and the teacher interview are not provided, but for the purpose of having these multiple sources – an interview with another teacher and an adult ELL learner is provided. You can also interview any teacher or adult ELL that you know.

Regardless of whether you are doing the case study with an actual ESOL learner or doing the virtual option – you are supposed to describe the activity and analyze the language development and be able to connect it with the theories, notions and the readings that we have read so far. For example – if one of the activity is Total Physical Response (TPR), after describing the activity you will discuss what you thought of this approach? Was this an effective way of learning? What does the theory say about it? Or say for example you used one of Ada and Campoy’s activity – did this activity really emanate a dialogue? What was the objective and did the activity meet its objective and so on.

#1 Dissertation Proposal Research Plan

In this week’s discussion, choose Option A or Option B to make the best use of your time this week. For each option, your initial post is due on Day 5 in order to provide enough time for fully developing your attached document.

Option A: Outline Chapter 3 of Your Dissertation Proposal

Before you outline your third chapter, review at least two Ashford University dissertations on your topic (and/or on unrelated topics) to see how other writers formulated their Research Method chapters. Next, create an annotated outline for Chapter 3: Research Method. Include the topics that you will address in the chapter, section headings, a brief description of the contents, and what you will include under each heading.

Option B: Refine Your LOI

Create an initial post:

1.In the text of your post, state which sections of your LOI are still in need of approval. If you are not sure which sections need approval, check your Week 6, 7 and 8 Assignment feedback to see which of the five LOI sections did not receive a passing score. Then, review your instructor’s feedback for that section or sections, and explain the improvements you will make this week to earn approval.

2.Then, complete and submit the Optional Week 9 Assignment. In the assignment dropbox for Week 9, upload the new version of your LOI for instructor feedback.

Response Posts for Options A and B

proposal & thesis paper Writing Assignment Help

1800 word thesis paper

finish proposal before Nov.24

courese content : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aiz0MTa6ttGHQvFVX…

Your proposal should be one and a half to two pages, double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman font, one-inch margins. The proposal should summarize the direction and content of your argument. You may hold back your final conclusions, but you should have carefully considered the directions your argument might take based on a careful consideration of the evidence you have gathered. Be sure that your proposal does not simply repeat or introduce the topic. Delineate what examples you intend to use, and where. Try also to show the progression of your argument.

The annotated bibliography should be a list of references that includes an explanation of how each source figures into your essay.

Your argument should be based on internal evidence from within the primary sources you choose to interpret (the films, stories and plays). Contextualizing your argument within the historical background with secondary sources gives it weight, but be sure to use secondary sources in support of your own argument, not in lieu of your own argument.

The topics below are meant to guide your initial inquiry. You will need to develop an argument within the topic. I suggest that you begin by choosing the texts you would like to analyze, and then choosing what sorts of questions you would like to ask of those texts. I advise against using less than two, or more than four primary texts. Make sure that your argument is focused enough to be provable within the space allotted.

Self-regulation: Analyze the ethic of self-discipline as prescribed in depictions of encounters between humans and supernatural beings. How does the story, through its structure and/or content, advise audiences against indulgence? How does the story simultaneously allow audiences to indulge in transgression through identification with primary characters? How does the structure of the story exemplify the discipline being prescribed in the story’s content? How is the prescription for self-regulation different across gender, age and social status?

Gender roles: Discuss representations of masculinity and femininity in one or more of the stories. You may choose to compare an original pre-modern text with a film adaptation, or to compare characters across a couple of stories. Whichever texts you choose, consider the intersection of supernatural beings and gender representation. For instance, what does the trope of the spirit enchantress say about gender relations? If you are considering a film adaptation— how does the modern version depict pre-modern gender roles?

Adaptation: Choose one of the literary text and film pairs. Consider one or more of the following questions in constructing your argument. How does the film version depict the past? Is the past meant to be an unfamiliar place where ordinary rules do not apply? Is the past depicted as being backward socially or culturally? How are gender relations depicted between the original and film adaptation? How does the medium of representation affect the story’s messages? If you are taking audience reception into account when analyzing the film, include information on ticket sales and distribution. Do not present a comparison of a story and film pair. Instead, focus in on a specific theme or character as the point of departure for your comparison.

Cross-Cultural Comparison: Use caution when considering this topic. It can easily lead into the pitfall of sweeping generalizations about national cultures that lack in-depth analysis and textual support. Remember that without doing extensive research, you cannot draw any conclusions about the cultures that produced the literature we have read. Instead, you may compare the representations of supernatural beings (fox spirits, snake spirits) within our course readings to analyze what similarities and differences in their portrayal and interactions with humans says about their intended audiences.
