Lesson Plan

Based on the student with ASD that you have been observing in your Field Experience, write a lesson plan using the GCU Lesson Plan located on the College of Education’s page in the Student Success Center that is aligned to an academic state standard.

Incorporate in the lesson plan any social, behavioral, communication, sensory regulation, academic, and/or executive functioning skills that also need to be taught.

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.

10 hours Field Experience

Return to the site with the student with ASD and present your intervention plan created in the Benchmark, after incorporating IEP team feedback. Next, implement the Intervention plan. After implementing the plan, write a reflective essay of 500-750-words discussing the following:

What you revised in the plan based upon IEP team feedback

1. Results of the intervention;
2. Discussion of which interventions were successful and which interventions failed;
3. What you learned from your experiences; and
4. Evaluate your progress in using the Ziggurat model to service the needs of an individual with ASD.

Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is/is not required. This assignment uses a rubric. Outcome 6: Formulate ethical strategies to mitigate operational challenges within the hospitality industry.

Objective: To apply content learned throughout the course by conducting a situational analysis and selecting an appropriate ethical strategy for a hospitality-based organization.

Section 1: Background of the Organization (4 to 5 pages)

• Using information contained in the reporting for the company selected and information the company provides, discuss the organization’s environmental sustainability initiatives and the progress the company is making against those initiatives.

Section 2: External Assessment

1.Using the PESTLE Assessment Template, research and write a paragraph that explains the current state of each item as it relates to the industry your company is in. Provide sources for your information.

2.Identify two competing companies and develop a CPM Matrix that lists 5 Critical Success Factors. Use the CPM template located.

a.Provide rational as to how the two companies were selected and why the selected critical success factors were determined.

Section 3: Internal Assessment

1.For this section you will research and write a paragraph that best describes the current internal situation for each functional area of the company. Use the Internal Assessment template located in the template folder.

2.Write a 1 to 2-page summary on the financial condition of the company. Use the following ratios to support your summary; profit margin, quick ratio, return on equity, PE ratio. Address how they are doing compared to their competitors; and how well are they are doing compared to the industry norm. Include specific information to support your findings

Now that students have learned the basic statistical terms used in criminal justice research, students are expected to select another article from a research journal in criminal justice or criminology. Read the article and discuss the study and findings of the research. Explain your level of understanding now, versus when you read the first article in Unit One, describing your ability to comprehend the data.

The response has to be a minimum of 250 words but can be more, with at least two scholarly articles or journals as references, and intext citations.

“Art in the City”

This assignment will take you outside and into the city of Providence to consider public art and architecture, and to connect your experience to the article “Age of the Ugly” by Michael K. Beran. Begin this assignment by reading the article. You may pair up with one or two other students or do the assignment on your own. For the outside, “experiential” aspect of the assignment, you can walk around the general area of downtown, or extend your reach beyond the immediate area. Focus on looking at the architecture, statuary, art, etc. that you see. Choose an example of public art to examine for this paper.

Begin your paper with an introductory paragraph. Give a general idea of what your paper is about; mention your walk around the city and the article by Beran. Finish this paragraph with a thesis statement in which you either agree or disagree with Beran’s thesis. In the next paragraph give a synopsis of Beran’s article. What is his main point? How does he try to support this point? The next paragraphs should be where you introduce the art you have chosen. Describe the art’s aesthetic – how do you describe the art? Where is it located and why? Explain why it is art and the purpose and value it holds. As you make your points, refer back to Beran’s article; how does your experience match up (or not) with Beran’s argument? Be sure to make multiple references to Beran. End your paper with a concluding paragraph in which you tie everything together. Be sure to avoid introducing any new ideas or points here.

• Papers are to be 2-3 pages in length, typed in 12 Font, Times New Roman and double spaced with one-inch margins at all corners. Staple your paper once in the upper left-hand corner.
• Include a cover page with your paper with your name (s), title of the assignment, course name and due date. Block this information in the center of the cover page. This is to be the only place where this information appears; do not include it anywhere else in the paper.
• Email me an image of the art you have chosen with the names of group members.
• Papers will be evaluated for adherence to basic rules of written English and these guidelines as well as content.
