HYPOKINETIC DISEASE TERM PAPER

• Using your disease risk interview assessment on family members (or friends if you do not have any family members to ask) you will write a comparison and contrast paper outlining your risks and current or future plan to prevent any of these risks. • Some areas that you may need to still explore in this health history might be nutrition/dietary practices, smoking/drinking/illegal and prescription drug use, sleep/rest patterns, elimination schedule (daily, weekly, etc.), exercise/activity practices, wellness check-ups, conditions/diseases, stress management, self-image, etc. • Write a detailed 3 page report and include the information you found from both family members. Note similarities and differences between the two family members. Then, note any similarities you share with these family members. Give a short definition of any diagnosed health condition that your family members have. Include information on risk factors for hypokinetic disease. (Hypokinetic diseases include obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, and lower back pain). Finally, include what methods of prevention you are currently or can in the future take to avoid and prevent the occurrence of any hypokinetic diseases. • Use proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure, capitalization, and punctuation. Do not give names, just relationships to you and each other. This should be a thorough written report, typed, double spaced, using Arial font size 12 with margins no greater than 1.25”. The written report should be a minimum of 3 pages. The paper should be written as a report and not just answers under the questions. AGAIN, DO NOT JUST LIST ANSWERS UNDER THE QUESTIONS. THIS SHOULD BE WRITTEN AS A PAPER.• Papers must be in APA or MLA format.[supanova_question]

Formulate an organized, clearly worded, and succinct initial post that substantively covers all discussion paragraph points stated for your chosen topic. Because your initial post will be scored on the degree to which you meet these standards, there is no set minimum word requirement. However, there is a set maximum word requirement – confine your initial post to 500 words. Remember that we are all reading each other’s posts, and one that is succinctly written is more likely to be read and responded to, thus furthering our discussion on that topic.
Include at least one graphic, video, or image that visually adds to some aspect of your post – as they say, pictures are worth 1000 words![supanova_question]

In his work with Roger Penrose, he is also known for the set of gravitational singularity theorems which supported Einstein’s theory of general relativity.
Galileo Galilei (1564-1642)

Read Sections 13 through 17 (up through “How the Sphere, Having in Vain Tried Words, Resorted to Deeds”) and discuss on the Discussion Bulletin Board.
For our third discussion, please read sections 13 – 17 of Flatland and discuss your views on the Discussion board as usual under “Flatland Discussion #3”. Try to imagine what we as 3-dimensional creatures might see if we could suddenly see/experience four spacial dimensions (not counting “time” as a dimension). Could we see inside our bodies? What would a “building” be like in four dimensions? How would we move differently? How might our communications systems differ? (I don’t know any of these answers – just trying to get you to think about these things in preparation for the String Theory discussions at the end of the semester.) Once you have contributed to the discussion, please type “completed this assignment” and hit “submit” within this assignment so that I can give you credit
