I am attaching a photo of what the book we’re reading is its some translation I don’t know if this is much different from the regular one but if it is then you’ll need that one. Assignment: • Compose a “chapter” of the classic Daoist text Daodejing. Try to imitate the style and basic tendencies of Daoist thought, but feel free to ‘stretch’ ideas in new directions. Your “chapter” should be no more than 300 words, followed by a “commentary” of roughly 700 words. Total word length should not exceed 1000 words.
IMPORTANT: I had a writer that did this previously for my draft and I cannot use it. The 300 word chapter needs to be YOUR OWN CHAPTER in the style of the Daodejing. The commentary should be a commentary on the chapter that you write. You can be creative with the chapter, and then comment on the chapter you write/why it is like the Daodejing. I will attach the book that we are working with it would be preferred if you have that exact book as I don’t know how much different it is then the actual text. Thank you.
