3. Your rural community of 10,000 main employer- a large agricultural chemical processing plant- is struck by a large fire. Due to the nature of the chemicals, the fire may last for days. Emergency Management has decided to tell citizens to shelter in place versus to evacuate. The incident has drawn responders from a large area, and most arrive ill equipped for a sustained operation. Further complicating the issue is water runoff from fire suppression into the town’s only source of water. Discuss how you would support both the citizens and the providers while being aware of sheltering, along with limited movement because of the fire. Do not be concerned about the potential exposure- focus on the logistic support.

In this unit, we learned about emotions, personality, and how groups influence individual behavior. These are issues that are personally and socially significant. We saw social and cultural influences on beliefs about race including how very young children hold beliefs about themselves and others based on race. We also learned about obedience to authority in the Milgram study and the Stanford prison experiment. For many students, this research is shocking. For others, it may help to contextualize some of our own experiences even today. What stands out from the research this week?

This paper is about Chinese preventative healthcare industry research. The purpose of this paper is to give advices to preventative healthcare providers in China to make them improve their service and help them know better about their customers’ concerns.

Unlike US or Canada, the preventative healthcare is not in a part of healthcare, which means people need to pay for it if they want the service. So, this is like a new industry in China. The elder people don’t have the habit to do preventative health check, but young people start to care about their body health.
