“Qualitative methods of research include
observations, interviewing and focusing on certain groups in which social
experiences are able to be observed. This type of method is one that is easily
documented by simply observing or having a conversation with someone rather
than just reading results, numbers and charts. The goal of qualitative research
is to “develop an authentic understanding of a social process or social
setting” (Bachman & Schutt, 2014). In my opinion, one of the most
positive things about qualitative research methods is that it gives the
researcher the opportunity to really get to know the group they are studying
which in turn helps them understand their findings and correlations of data
better. This type of research is not one where a researcher would just send out
a survey and never actually meet the people responding. It is important to gain
that trust and knowledge of your focus group in order to get the best results.
I also feel that one of the strengths of this type of research is the fact that
there is a level of confidentiality in the research which again would lead to
more trust between the focus group members and the researcher themselves. There
are several ethical issues that arise with this type of research though which
causes some researchers to not be so fond of it. Qualitative research includes
the aspect of participant observation. This can be a limitation because it is
always important to ensure that the participants are voluntarily participating
in the study which would mean that everyone involved in a field observation
type study would need to give consent. This can sometimes cause some
difficulty. Another downfall of this type of research (which can also be a
positive aspect of it) is ensuring confidentiality. Although confidentiality
can be a positive thing in the sense that individuals may be more honest with
the researcher, it can also be a negative aspect of this research. Most of the
time, researchers use fake names for participants but if a researcher is
studying a group of people from one particular neighborhood, those involved may
be able to identify others in the research study based on certain identifiers
listed in the research findings.

There
are several questions that can be used with this type of research. One could be
“What family factors/childhood traumas contribute to an individual
becoming a sexual offender/predator?” Another question may be “Is
there a certain type of mental health disorder or disorders that sexual
offenders/predators are found to suffer from?”

SWOT Analysis Draft (Mental Health) Other Assignment Help

SWOT Analysis Draft

Strategic planning is a primary function of
leadership and management in public health administration. Leaders are critical
in determining the optimal route (goals and objectives) to ensure the
organization’s success. Strategy development and implementation is a journey
that requires planning, and the organization’s “vision” is the idealized
destination. Different paths, different stops, and different issues arise along
the way. The art and science of planning should be embedded in the culture of
the public health organization in order to positively affect population health
status and meet health challenges at the local, state, regional, national, and
even global levels.

Although most public health professionals will
focus on local, regional, or state responsibilities, the planning
process—coupled with artful utilization of relationships and scientific
utilization of planning tools—is salient at any level and for any type of
public health organization.

For this week’s Assignment, review the media,
especially the media titled Strategic Planning. Consider how
these health organizations use strategic planning to address public health
issues. Then, review the SWOT analysis tool provided. This tool refers to a
Community of Practice (CoP), but this template may be used for documenting
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to your Final Project
public health problem. If you prefer, you may create your own SWOT table.

Section I

Based on issues identified for the community
health problem featured in your Final Project (Mental Health), review the SWOT analysis tool provided (Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, n.d.-e).

Section III

Contact a health care/public health
administrator involved in the strategic planning process. Conduct a brief
interview (face-to-face, e-mail, or telephone) using the questions provided in
the Public Health Administrator Interview Questions document in your Learning
Resources.

The Assignment: SWOT Table and Paper (4–5
pages):

Conduct an informal SWOT analysis. The
analysis should include the following:

·
Section
I:
 SWOT Table (1
page)

o
A completed SWOT table
listing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the
public health leadership issue identified in your Final Project. Fill in the
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the health problem
identified. Then, provide a summary in which you describe your selected
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Why did you select these
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats over others? Include some
strategies for minimizing weaknesses and capitalizing on strengths and
opportunities.

·
Section
II:
 Using the SWOT
Analysis (1 page)

o
A narrative
explanation of the SWOT findings

o
An explanation of how,
as a public health administrator, you might use the information obtained in the
SWOT analysis in strategic planning, decision making, and resource allocation

·
Section
III:
 Administrator
Interview Synopsis (2–3 pages):

o
An interview with a
public health administrator on strategic planning. Your interview may be
conducted over the phone, Skype, e-mail, or in person if you prefer. (Note: You
must transcribe or summarize your interview and post it.)

o
Prepare your thoughts
and questions carefully in advance, so you can be succinct in your interview.
In your interview, you should ask the interviewee questions such as the
following, as well as any other questions you think are appropriate to the
organization or individual you are interviewing:

§  How often do you and your organization engage
in the strategic planning process?

§  How do you utilize the strategic plan? Please
describe this plan. (For example, how detailed is it? Is it a long-range plan?)

§  What are your thoughts about the strategic
planning process? How well is it working? What are specific strengths of the
process from your perspectives? Have you encountered any barriers or
difficulties to overcome?

Following the interview, please complete the
following:

·
Write a synopsis of
your findings.

·
Explain the
relationship between planning and decision making in resource allocation in the
strategic planning process.

  “Qualitative
research is defined as “methods such as participant observation, intensive
interviewing, and focus groups that are designed to capture social life and
participants experience it” (Bachman, 2014). Qualitative research allows the
researcher to observe the social life and as decades go by there are many
changes in the social life and qualitative research allows is to see how we
have evolved as humans (Bachman, 2014).

As a result qualitative research doesn’t have a set answer it usually creates
more questions and creates open-ended questions.  As a researcher one
needs to remember that those participants that share their beliefs and feelings
should keep the questions confidential so other potential subjects don’t have
set feelings on a certain question. It is important to obtain an answer that is
truthful to their beliefs. One needs to be unbiased and not be in a certain
side that might affect the research.

As a researcher one needs to remember that the thoughts of certain groups may
not reflect on all the populations. In other words other may not believe what a
certain group is thinking. The data can only be used to describe a certain
group. For example, a question may be raised; Do gang members respect the
community they live in? A certain gang group may respect the community by
cleaning and not doing their shootings in their own community. They may even go
as far as respecting those that live in a community. Other gangs may not have
the same aspect of respecting the community they live in. Another question that
can be seen as a qualitative research may be how do gang members interact with
those that are not in a gang?”

Ale Response Science Assignment Help

Qualitative
field research is the process of observing and experiencing other groups’
social life. This type of research seeks to discover how groups act in certain
social settings such as observing gang life (Bachman & Schutt, 2014).

This type of research is time-consuming; which
can be both an advantage and a limitation. It is an advantage in that the time
spent with these social groups can give in-depth and thorough understanding of
the topic researched. It is a limitation in that it requires field notes,
observations, maintaining relationships, and analyzing that data (Bachman &
Schutt, 2014). This creates a long and drawn out process.

A strength in this type of research allows the
researcher to create a rapport with these social groups. This rapport helps the
participants trust and open up in a way that creates a better understanding of
the participant’s situations. A limitation is that the researcher can have a
hard time maintaining appropriate boundaries. The researcher spends time with
these people and it can be hard to remain unbiased. A researcher can seek to
learn about the group but should not become an active participant or become
involved. It can cause the researcher to become conflicted and create bias data
(Fogel, 2007).

A good criminal justice topic would be the study of young males
joining gangs. The research questions could be: ‘What happens to these young
men that make them want to join a gang? How do they manage the demands of the
gang?’”

Speaking Assignment: Alphabet Song Foreign Languages Assignment Help

one nice thing about the vowel sounds in Spanish is that they are very consistent and make only one sound. We all learn a “rhyme” to learn the vowels in English. Do you remember it (A, E, I, O, U, and sometimes Y)?

Young Mexican children also learn a little rhyme to remember the vowels and the sounds they make in Spanish.  A, E, I, O, U. Mi burro sabe más que tú. (A, E, I, O, U. My donkey knows more than you.) Listen to it repeatedly and memorize it. Remember that the vowel sounds in Spanish are always consistent. A makes one sound, not like in English where we have the “A” sounding like “a” in apple, “a” in water, “a” in cake, etc. The vowels make only one sound in Spanish. Listen to the rhyme below until you have it memorized, then complete the assignment below.

Now that you have had time to practice the rhyme and the alphabet, record yourself reciting the rhyme that you memorized and submit it to your teacher.

Beck Manufacturing and Plant Capacity Business Finance Assignment Help

Beck Manufacturing and Plant Capacity*** Original work with
answers*** Introduction and conclusion paragraphs consisting of 4 to 5
complete sentences. Label each part and Plagiarism report must be
attached*** Read in full before answering questions!!!!  The file is attached…..

Al
Beck, president of Beck manufacturing, wants to determine the capacity
of his facility, which produces steering gears for auto manufacturers.
He has asked you to sort through the data and determine the capacity of
the system and how that capacity may be increased. The operation is a
product layout that produces large numbers of nearly identical products.
The process includes milling, grinding, boring, drilling, and
assembling, in that order. Each finished product requires one operation
on each type of machine. For example, each finished part is processed on
one of the five milling machines, one of the seven grinding machines,
etc.

The facility runs two 8-hour shifts per day, with a third
shift for maintenance. The industrial engineering department has
provided you with the following data on present operations. In addition,
you have been told that assembly operations, while not unlimited, can
be easily changed to meet the need.

  • Calculate the capacity of each machine center and the capacity of the system.
  • Analyze where the focus of the company’s efforts
should be if Beck wants to expand capacity. Determine how much
extra capacity he can get without causing another operation to
    become the bottleneck.
  • Suggest ways Beck can expand capacity without purchasing new equipment.

Your paper should be in paragraph form (avoid the use of
bullet points) and supported with the concepts outlined in your text
and additional scholarly sources.

Submit your three- to four-page paper (not including the
title and reference pages). Your paper must be formatted according to
APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center and must cite at
least three scholarly sources in addition to the textbook.

  19. I
agree early on, rather than argue about a point. ___

  20. I
state my position as only one point of view. ___

Research has identified five conflict-handling styles. To
calculate your scores for each of these styles, sum the scores from the 4 questions
(in parentheses below) that relate to each of these 5 styles as directed below:

Competing: (Sum of responses to questions 1, 6, 11, and
16)  ____

Collaborating: (Sum of responses to questions 5, 10, 15, and
20)  ____

Avoiding: (Sum of responses to questions 4, 9, 14, and
19)  ____

Accommodating: (Sum of responses to questions 2, 7, 12, and
17)  ____

Compromising: (Sum of responses to questions 3, 8, 13, and
18)  ____

Your conflict-handling score within each category will range
from 4 to 20. The category you score highest in is your preferred
conflict-handling style. Your next-highest total is your secondary style. See
pages 190-191 in the textbook as well as the following descriptions:

Competing = A desire to satisfy one’s interests,
regardless of the impact on the other party to the conflict.

Collaborating = Where the parties to a conflict each
desire to satisfy fully the concerns of all parties.

Avoiding = The desire to withdraw from or suppress
the conflict.

Accommodating = Willingness of one party in a
conflict to place the opponent’s interests above his or her own.

Compromising = Where each party to a conflict is
willing to give up something.

Ideally, we should adjust our conflict-handling style to the
situation. For instance, avoidance works well when a conflict is trivial, when
emotions are running high and time is needed to cool them down, or when the
potential disruption from a more assertive action outweighs the benefits of a
resolution. In contrast, competing works well when you need a quick resolution
on important issues where unpopular actions must be taken, or when commitment
by others to your solution is not critical. However, the evidence indicates
that we all have a preferred style for handling conflicts. When “push
comes to shove,” this is the style we tend to rely on. Your score on this
instrument provides you with insight into this preferred style. Use this
information to work against your natural tendencies when the situation requires
a different style.

Grade Average Program Programming Assignment Help

Grade Average Program

Design a grade average program that will produce the numerical grade average of test scores input by a user.

Your program design should contain the following:

  • You must use an Array as your data structure to store the input grades
  • You must use a Looping structure to initialize the elements of your array to clear out system garbage.
  • The user may input up to 5 test scores. Hint: This does not mean each user will input 5 scores. 3 scores may be entered for calculation.
  • You must use a Looping structure to traverse the elements of your array to produce your calculation.

You are to submit the following for the assignment:

  • Submit your C++ source code that you generated from RAPTOR with comments added to each line or where necessary to explain program flow.  Also submit the RAPTOR file (flowchart) of your working program.
  • Make sure you run it to make sure it is error free and does what it is supposed to.

You can use the generate dropdown to create example C++ code based on your working logical flow chart to see what the code would look like.

Remember to follow the guidelines of good program design. Make sure to use meaningful variable names and include comments as needed.

Designing a Pet Class Programming Assignment Help

Pet Class

Design a class named Pet, which should have the following fields:

  • Name – The name field holds the name of a pet.
  • Type – The type field holds the type of animal that is the pet. Example values are “Dog”, “Cat”, and “Bird”.
  • Age – The age field holds the pet’s age.

The Pet class should also have the following methods:

  • setName – The setName method stores a value in the name field.
  • setType – The setType method stores a value in the type field.
  • setAge – The setAge method stores a value in the age field.
  • getName – The getName method returns the value of the name field.
  • getType – The getType method returns the value of the type field.
  • getAge – The getAge method returns the value of the age field.

Once you have designed the class, design a program that creates an object of the class and prompts the user to enter the name, type, and age of his pet. This data should be stored in the object. Use the object’s accessor methods to retrieve the pet’s name, type, and age and display this data on the screen.

You are to submit the following for the assignment:
