This assignment asks you to identify a renaissance work of art using the time line as indicated in the book. Be prepared to give a very brief, informal presentation on the work and to submit a three page analysis with MLA format works cited page citing all sources used. Guidelines are as follows:

Presentation: should use screen so whole class can view image. Identify artist, date, place – either northern or southern renaissance. Suggested topics would be to identify key characteristics of renaissance style, general themes and or meanings and any significant bio information of the artist. This is not a formal presentation – just introduce it and explain why it is interesting to you. Think of it as starting a conversation which the rest of us will finish . . . (you just make the PPT)

Analysis: minimum of two page written description of the work – using elements of analysis as we have been using them in class.

Thesis: the purpose of this analysis is to look closely at one renaissance work of art, or do a comparison or two or two related pieces in order to better understand the renaissance itself – your thesis should reflect this. An example is as follows: The color, shapes and subject of Raphael’; s Madonna exemplify the style of High Renaissance.

Suggestions: be sure to include title, artist and date. Identify work as southern or northern renaissance and explain how it either typifies or defies the conventions of the renaissance. For those of you who choose a topic that is not necessarily a particular work, consider defining/explaining the topic (ex: golden ratio) and then describing a few examples of how it occurs in renaissance art.

Be sure to focus on the work and not the general biographical information of the artist!

Fundraising letter to collect food for the people in need in thanksgiving.

The fundraising letter should be directed to the catholic students population.

the letter should include:

1-the type of food which are canned food or the dry food not food the food that expire without fridge.

2- the letter must include a date and time for the people who are donating you can use (10/10/2020) time from 2PM TO 5PM.

The letter is not meant to be send out to the student it is for my English composition class.

IRAC Basics:

Issue(s) – are written in the form of questions! These issues are questions one might ask regarding how the law applies to the article you have chosen.

Rules – are the laws/rules that the writer thinks may apply to the issues.

Analysis – is where the writer either proves or disproves the application of the rules. This is a major focus of the paper and presentation….critical thinking must be applied.

Conclusion – will take one of two approaches. First, if the court has decided the case, do you agree with the decision? Why, or why not? If the court has yet to make a decision, what do you think needs to be done, and why.

The writer’s approach is to be concise, organized, and complete in the presentation of the case. If you need any further clarification of this assignment, please make an appointment to see me during office hours.

The reading this week discusses strategy and how ERM can be integrated with an organization’s overall strategy.
