Part 2

Project implementation is arguably the most exciting stage of the project management process. It is during project implementation that project plans begin to come to life and assumptions are able to be tested and measured in real-life scenarios.

One of the outcomes of project implementation is a set of deliverables that typically includes a system diagram; a network diagram; a database design document, including an entity-relationship diagram, a data dictionary, and table definitions; a clearly articulated cybersecurity plan; and source code.

To complete this assignment, you will create:

• A system diagram that shows, in graphic form, the components of your project.
• Your system diagram should follow the system description you submitted in your Week 2 project plan (but may differ based on the research you have conducted since Week 2).
• You may create your system diagram in Microsoft PowerPoint or a graphics program of your choice.
• A network diagram that shows, in graphic form, the flow of data within your project.
• Your network diagram should follow the network description you defined in the Week 2 project plan (but may differ based on the research you have conducted since Week 2).
• You may create your network diagram in Microsoft PowerPoint or a graphics program of your choice.
• A database design document, including an entity-relationship diagram, a data dictionary, and table definitions, representing all of the data that must be stored and maintained within the context of your project and how that data is organized.
• A clearly articulated cybersecurity plan that explains how you plan to secure project data and processes.
• Source code (may be partial) for at least one software application.
• Your source code may be implemented in HTML/JavaScript, Java, C++, or another programming language.
• Download and unzip the HTML/JavaScript/CSS sample code files for an example of a partial software application implementation.
• A quality assurance and software test plan.
• Download the Software Test Plan for an example of what information is typically included and how it is typically organized in a software test plan.

Note: All deliverables must be portfolio ready, which means as complete and error-free as possible.

This paper needs to be at least 6-8 pages and cited when need be with a reference page. APA will be fine for citation purposes. If there is any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

The topic I would like to research is mental illness within Serial Killers. I would like to study the impact that mental illness has on serial killers. I would like to explore the different many aspects of mental illness and how it aids in the needs and desires of serial killers that leads them to take the life of others. There are many stereotypes of mental illness, so I also plan on touching briefly on this. In my paper I will also talk about a famous serial killer and their mental illness and how it has affected their life. Lastly, I will explore whether or not the particular mental illness this individual has affects their victim choice. I will elaborate more on that studying if their history and mental illness affects the availability to commit the crime, vulnerability and desirability. My hope is to be able to support my findings with evidence and sum up my research and overall succeed and understanding the strong impact mental illness has with serial killers.

Look for a specific regulatory issue company COMCAST is known to face or could logically be presumed to face (All companies have regulations with which they must comply. Often there are specific regulatory violations or restrictions which confront a company.)

On that basis:

1. Define the issue. Use at least one academic or other high quality sources to help you define the issue.

2. Draw a mind-map of the issue confronting your company. . Ensure your company is clearly located on the mind-map (depending on the issue it might or might not be at the center).

3. Identify what you think is a critical component of the issue (one component from your mind-map). There might be many critical components, but for this exercise you must choose one.

4. Find three high quality academic sources (use the UCW library) that help you understand that one component. (Use the standards for high quality . Note: Your articles should not directly refer to your source company—this is external research to help your company.

5. Briefly summarize the content of each academic source in your own words. Make sure you specify whether it is a theory or research article and in either case, what it concludes. (maximum of 100 words each) Read the materials on how to summarize an academic document.

6. Write a very brief memo style (not APA essay form. Use the “Ingre-Written Image Tips” and the “Developing a Business Recommendation” guides for help) report to the presumed head of your company (actual CEO or relevant Vice-President or senior manager). In this report:

• Identify the company’s issue you think is most significant. Draw upon your research to help you explain why it is an issue! This should include at least a two-line rationale for your choice of issue.
• Explain your research—why you looked at the research you did and what you learned about the company’s situation from the research. Make sure you identify the authors of the research you read as part of explaining what you found (no APA citation necessary beyond author-year identification).
• Develop one or more recommendations on how the company could respond to that stakeholder or stakeholder issue effectively based on the research you completed. For each recommendation ensure there is a logical rationale. A good rationale draws clear connections between the research, the recommendation and the company issue.

This report should be no longer than 350 words. (Note, it is much better to exceed the report length than to not say something you think must be said. You lose fewer marks for going over the length than for not saying something important—use your judgement.)

6. Prepare a submission to Turnitin as follows with Word .doc or .docx output, or .rtf output (not a .pdf):

• Cover page in APA style
• Your report in MEMO form
• Appendix 1: Issue definition (list all sources).
• Appendix 2: Mind-map (could be a drawing, a jpeg from a photograph, or an insert from mind-mapping software (for example Coggle). Ensure the details of the mind-map are legible in your final document.
• Appendix 3: Summary of Article 1 with an APA reference
• Appendix 4: Summary of Article 2 with an APA reference
• Appendix 5: Summary of Article 3 with an APA reference
• Appendix 6: APA reference list of all sources used in developing your report and mind-map

Prepare a two-page persuasive presentation essay that illustrates the techniques and skills needed to develop a customer-focused relationship with a service OR retail business in a mixed sales setting (mixed means both personal selling and some online/digital component).

• Alternatively you can create a 10 slide, slideshow covering the same information.

Assume I don’t know “anything” about making a Persuasive Presentation. Your job (with this assignment) is to show me how!

Additional Thoughts:

• If you choose to write the essay you will be describing persuasive presentation techniques and how they work – much like you might “reveal” a magician’s secrets or a chef’s special technique(s).
• If you choose to create a slideshow you will be presenting the same information but using less words and more images, diagrams, etc. You are not creating a Persuasive Presentation –> you are creating a slideshow revealing how persuasive presentations work.
