NSU Responsibilities of Nursing Managers on Patient Care Needs Response Writing Assignment Help
PLEASE DON’T USE THE WORK I, 150-250 WORDS
FIRST POST
I enjoyed your post; it was a very concise perspective on a very prevalent issue in health care. I also agree with your problem statement- use criteria should be evaluated regularly to make sure that the patient’s condition warrants a catheter. Using catheters for the shortest length of time possible and only when absolutely necessary is key to preventing catheter associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI). In addition to making sure necessity is evaluated, streamlining maintenance procedures can also lessen the probability of infection. An infection prevention bundle checklist was devised by researchers in Auckland, New Zealand that included appropriate catheter indications, hand hygiene procedures, insertion techniques, catheter maintenance, and catheter removal guidelines (Hernandez et al., 2019). The presence of the checklist served as a reminder while keeping the nurses accountable. Although Hernandez et al., (2019) noted that participation and documentation using the checklist was subpar, when it was used, nurses reported following the appropriate procedures which grants some efficacy for the usefulness of such checklists in the field. More reinforcement would be needed to highlight the usefulness of using checklists as a standard of care to ensure that proper procedure is being followed to prevent CAUTIs.

SECOND POST
My discussion post this week focused on healthcare associated infections as well. I felt this would be a good topic to base research off of due to their prevalence, and contribution to patient morbidity and mortality. I was also drawn to this topic due to the alarming occurrence of these infections, and how easily preventable they are with proper education and implementation of infection control measures. Many of the patients in the intensive care unit are already immunocompromised, with multiple invasive lines, and are therefore at a higher risk of obtaining these infections. There are over 20,000 cases of central-line associated bloodstream infections (CLASBSI’s) in the United States alone, and they are one of the most dangerous due to their responsibility for one third of all deaths due to hospital acquired infections (Burnham et al., 2018). The best prevention for these types of infections are frequent and efficient hand hygiene, especially when using the ports of these lines, and removal of the lines as soon as possible (Burnham et al., 2018). It seems as if your research question about utilization of a CLABSI bundle would decrease incidence of infection in the intensive care unit. Great job on utilizing the research process and selecting a research problem.

THIRD POST
I absolutely agree with you and I think most healthcare workers also agree with you. It makes sense that making assignments based on patient acuity would only improve nursing care. An article by Jones (2020) researched nurse to patient ratios and patient acuity in New Zealand. The article initially states that just mandating nurse to patient ratios is not enough and should be taken further to include patient acuity. They found that appropriate staffing for patient acuity lowered costs and improved patient outcomes (Jones, 2020). Another important finding was that patient falls significantly reduced when patients were assigned appropriately based on acuity (Jones, 2020). I find that in my personal experience this completely holds true. On days that I work when the hospital is short staffed, and nurses are very busy it always seems like parts of patient care get left behind. I would be interested in the responses of nurses involved in other qualitative studies evaluating ratios and patient acuity.

Elizabethan Era through the Metaphysical Poets Critical Analysis Paper Humanities Assignment Help
The next section of this survey course presented you with materials beginning during the reign of Elizabeth and ending in the realm of metaphysical poets. Beginning with Doctor Faustus and closing with the work of George Herbert, we have a vast swath of material to critically investigate. For this paper, you will be asked to look to the material we have covered for this section (all material from Doctor Faustus through to and including George Herbert) and argue one particular image, theme, character trait, etc. that emerges throughout the surveyed texts and discuss what that item communicates or represents about this first part of the survey. You may also choose to compare what surfaced in the Elizabethan Era to what evolved into the era of the Metaphysical poets: what changed or was different and why?
This paper will be thesis-driven and will point to one particular human facet traceable throughout all of the materials. You will be required to touch on each of the poems/short tales we have covered in some fashion in order to demonstrate that the idea, theme, etc. is clearly traceable throughout all of the material. Answer the question: what holds these materials together? What aspect of the human condition do these materials highlight? For instance, if Doctor Faustus, in the play, is representative of a larger theme of man attempting to reach the level of the Christian God, how is this idea traceable throughout all we have read? You might also choose to make an argument, using The Elizabethan World Picture, to demonstrate how the materials conform to or explode Elizabethan ideals. This is a period of evolution: see if you can identify how or in what way.
You will also be asked to complete some outside research for this paper (at least four additional sources) and will be expected to quote directly from both primary and secondary sources.
Requirements:
-MLA Formatting for in-text citations, Works Cited Page, and body of the paper (12-pt, Times New Roman Font)
-Three to four pages in length (not including Works Cited)
-At least four critical sources cited
-Thesis-driven and supported by both outside research and also material from the literature we have covered (i.e. direct quotes from the readings)
-Clear introduction and conclusion

PSYC 305 Colorado Technical University Entrepreneurial Success Paper Business Finance Assignment Help
Assignment Objectives
Describe the dynamics of unleashing innovation and creativity
Distinguish between the thought process and mindset of successful entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs
Identify characteristics of entrepreneurs who recognize and seize business opportunities and new ventures
Recognize the behavior attributes of those who become entrepreneurs
Part 2 Tasks
According to Byers, Kist, and Sutton’s article titled “Characteristics of the Entrepreneur: Social Creatures, Not Solo Heroes,” entrepreneurs are inherently social people (1997). This article explains why entrepreneurs are highly social by nature. In an article titled “Who’s Most Likely to go it Alone?,” Alessandra Bianchi offers a set of characteristics that predispose people toward entrepreneurship (1993). These characteristics, for example, come from life experiences such as being the child of an entrepreneur, being fired from multiple jobs, or being either an immigrant or the child of an immigrant.
With these readings in mind, complete the following in a paper of 4 pages:
- Profile the founder of a well-known company, and focus on that person’s social characteristics.
- Include references to the characteristics found in the Bianchi article, and align the characteristics with the founder’s personality.

Belhaven University Unit 4 Morality Reach and the Poor Responses Discussion Business Finance Assignment Help
Instructions: There are 2 responses below. Write a 100 word response for each.
Response 1:) Shala
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12 New Living Translation). The Golden Rule encompasses the empathic essence of morality. It is a simple yet powerful way of saying that we should recognize our fellow man’s dignity and not forget we all are capable of inflicting immoral actions. This is vital in following the commandments of God and creating a more virtuous world.
“Providing benefits and payments to participants in health research, either in cash or in-kind, is a common but ethically controversial practice” (Njue et al., 2015). Governments around the world transfer benefits to their citizens, sometimes as cash and sometimes in the form of in-kind transfers of goods and services. Some economists feel that cash benefits give the most significant boost to the recipients’ happiness, yet most governments choose in-kind transfers as the preferred way to control how aid dollars are used.
Just giving cash to the poor is not typically a good plan because it is often counterproductive. Very frequently, providing money to someone does the recipient more harm than good. It is hard to help people. Writing a check does not usually do the job. If it did, the trillions this country has spent on various income transfer programs would have wiped out poverty.
Whether in democracies or other government systems, politicians the world over has through the ages preferred to redistribute economic privilege mainly through benefits in kind, rather than through cash.

Response 2:) Ryan
The Bible discusses the distinctions between the rich and the poor and how they are all children of God in the end. Scripture says, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all” (Proverbs 22:1-2, New International Version). The Bible talks about the importance of remembering we are equal in the eyes of God. Rich or poor, we are all God’s children. Another thing Scripture says is, “The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are” (Proverbs 28:11, New International Version). While we are all equal to God, it is the poor that are the ones stronger in faith.
In the Bible, the role of the ruler is to provide for their citizens. Scripture writes, “A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops” (Proverbs 28:3, New International Version). Scripture tells us that it is one of the central roles of the ruler to care for their poor citizens. It is when the ruler does not care for their citizens that they are not doing what is best for their nation. It is important for his city and for the ruler’s own salvation that they rule for their citizens. A market economy is different as the ruler allows for their citizens to flourish for themselves. It seeks to help protect citizens from oppression, but it does this by allowing the citizens more opportunity to exist on their own, not its central function helping the lesser-off individuals.

Introduction
Primary sources are eyewitness accounts of historical events. As such, they are precious to historians since they provide a fly-on-the-wall glimpse of history in the making by those who witnessed that history.
Though I don’t expect you to be an expert on analyzing primary sources immediately, by the end of our course, you will be.
This assignment grows out of the article I assigned at the start of the semester — “Windows on the Past: Primary Sources and Why They’re Important.” That reading contains two videos showing you how historians source their documents and the types of questions they ask about them. You cannot do well on this assignment unless you’ve read the earlier article and viewed the videos. They will help you in the work that lies ahead in the course.
What also will help you is reading the assigned reading for this week BEFORE you tackle this assignment. That reading that will give you the context or backstory to this document. That backstory will provide important clues to your understanding of this document. When I come to grade your work, I will look to see if you used the assigned reading in your primary source analysis.
The Question Set
- Source the document. That is, who (or what) wrote or produced this source? How do you know? That is, independently confirm the authorship of the document. When was the source made? It’s important to know, as precisely as possible, what was going on at the time. List three important events from our history textbook that occurred at about the same time that this document was created.
- In at least 250 words, summarize the key points of the source. Put your answer entirely in your own words. Quote nothing.
- How does Roosevelt characterize the views of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson on government and democracy, and with which view does Roosevelt profess greater agreement? Does Roosevelt implicitly endorse either view in the remainder of his speech?
- What are the “new terms of the old social contract” according to Roosevelt, and why has it become necessary to add these new terms?
- What Larger Themes of those listed in the “Principal Themes in Our Class” does this source link to and shed light on? List and discuss at least two. If more linkages exist, discuss them. One is the “relation between the citizen and the government.” How does FDR view this relationship? What does the government owe its citizens and when in turn does the citizen owe the government (whether stated or implied)
