Roles provide a method to define the utilization types a server has available. These roles are necessary to properly utilize a server for the desired use cases, whether it is to be simply a file server, a print server, or a web server. Typically to act in a specific type of role, a server may require additional features that need to be installed in order to best perform that role.

Powershell is a very handy tool. Powershell not only helps in performing actions in bulk but also helps in saving the time it takes to perform the same set of actions using GUI tools. Powershell can be used to manage roles and features on Window Servers, While you can use Server Manager to connect to a remote Windows Server and then perform the installation and uninstallation of Windows Server roles and features using Server Manager might take a considerable amount of time.

Personally I do not think installing ALL roles is a good idea. I would only install roles that the server is supposed to fulfill. You will get more efficient use of the resources if you only install what is need. installing everything could potentially slow everything to a crawl. I would rather do it this way myelf but the disadvantage is, if a new role is needed it will not be immediately available.

PowerShell is a task based command line shell used for system administration. It helps control and automate Windows.

There are few ways to use PowerShell

1. you can report off usbs installed

2. perform CMD tasks in PowerShell (Ip look ups, traceroutes, etc)

3.Instead of task manager you can kill processes with PowerShell

4. Export NTFS folder permissions

You can manage server roles with PowerShell also.

Investment Selection

Imagine that you are a potential investor researching a U.S. investment of your choice. Your choice can be any investment that is highly marketable, which means that you must be able to sell it at a market price very easily, and develop a strategic diversification plan for a great return. Publicly traded stock, corporate bonds, government bonds, real estate, mutual funds, and derivatives are all examples of highly marketable investments. However, for this assignment, select the stock of a publicly traded U.S. corporation.

You will be required to collect financial statements, relevant financial information, or both that details the past three years (fiscal or calendar) of the chosen investment. (These statements can usually be located within the organization’s website under “investor information” or something similar. Many times, these statements can also be found on Yahoo! Finance, Google Finance, or MSN Money. You may also visit the Strayer University Library)

You will also be required to research your chosen investment’s price for the past five years, as well as a related market index for this investment for the past five years. An example of an applicable market index is the Standard and Poor’s Stock Market Index, commonly called the S&P 500.

To complete this assignment, write a 3–5 page paper in which you do the following:

• Select the stock of a publicly traded U.S. corporation that you wish to research for your portfolio diversification, with at least two supporting fundamental reasons such as price to earnings (P/E), price to book (P/B), price to cash flow from operation (P/CFO), and price to dividend (P/D). Provide at least one technical screen such as uptrend.
• Provide a brief (one-paragraph) explanation of the systematic risk and potential return associated with the investment you’ve selected.
• List five resources to demonstrate that there is enough information to support your decision regarding your selected investment.
