‘Entrants are often divided into three categories: first movers (or pioneers), which are the first to sell in a new product or service category: early followers (also called early leaders), which are early to the market but not first, and late entrants, which enter the market when or after the product begins to penetrate the mass market.’

From what was learned through the Operation Management Course, which topic do you believe will have the most significant impact in your career and why?

Lastly, respond to at least one (1) post of your peers.

Below is a peers discussion post in which I’ll have to provide a response too.

Angelia Langston

RE: Week 11 Discussion

Hello class and Professor! Here is my discussion for this week.

From what was learned through the Operation Management Course, which topic do you believe will have the most significant impact in your career and why?

Wow! I can’t believe I am making this post for Week 11. I honestly did not know I would be able to make it through. I believe the topic that will have the most impact for my current position and future positions came from Week 3. During that week I learned about the importance of Operations Strategy and how it applies to customers and their needs. I work for a major telecommunications company and while I do not have direct contact with our customers most of what I develop impacts them in some way. I learned that it is important for business to not only be competitive but to have an advantage over their competition. I have always operated under the assumption that is better to be the first to market (or in my case first in my department) to compete a project ahead of my peers. This course taught me that it is not only important to be the first to finish, it is just as important to finish with a product that customers will appreciate and do so while saving the company money. After takin this course I believe I have a better understanding of Operations Management and what it means for any business whether that business if providing a product or service or both. After taking this course and Small Business Management at the same time, it has cause me to do a deeper dive into whether starting a small business is the right move for my future.

Assignment: Experiential Versus Narrative Family Therapies

Although experiential therapy and narrative therapy are both used in family therapy, these therapeutic approaches have many differences in theory and application. As you assess families and develop treatment plans, you must consider these differences and their potential impact on clients. For this Assignment, you compare Experiential and Narrative Family Therapy.

Learning Objectives

Students will:

  • Compare experiential family therapy to narrative family therapy
  • Justify recommendations for family therapy

To prepare:

  • Review this week’s Learning Resources and reflect on the insights they provide on experiential and family therapies.

The Assignment

In a 2- to 3-page paper, address the following:

  • Summarize the key points of both experiential family therapy and narrative family therapy.
  • Compare experiential family therapy to narrative family therapy, noting the strengths and weakness of each.
  • Provide a description of a family that you think experiential family therapy would be appropriate, explain why, and justify your response using the Learning Resources.

Note: The College of Nursing requires that all papers submitted include a title page, introduction, summary, and references. The sample paper provided by the Walden Writing Center provides examples of those required elements (available at All papers submitted must use this formatting.

Part 2: Family Genogram

Develop a genogram for the client family you selected. The genogram should extend back at least three generations (parents, grandparents, and great grandparents).

Week 3: Experiential and Narrative Family Therapy

The Smiths, a family of five, present with their 14-year-old male son, Joshua, who is identified as “the patient.” Almost immediately, the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner notices the subtle struggle between the parents to be heard first, often talking over one another. Joshua finally blurts out, “You see, you two are crazy, and you think it’s me.” Joshua’s father immediately becomes angry, and Joshua’s mom is quick to rush to Joshua’s side. She begins to argue with her husband about his treatment of their son.

The Smiths and other clients like them may be candidates for both experiential therapy and narrative family therapy, and it is important to note that these are distinctly different therapeutic approaches. Experiential therapy examines experiences of the “here and now,” whereas narrative family therapy focuses on retelling one’s story to understand why one behaves in certain ways. When assessing client families and selecting one of these therapies, you must not only select the one that is best for the clients, but also the approach that most aligns to your own skill set.

This week, you compare experiential family therapy and narrative family therapy.

Markville High School Use of the Renin and Aldosterone Hormones Questions Science Assignment Help

1. Match the statement to the hormone it best describes:

Hormones: Renin, Aldosterone, ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone)

Causes sodium ions from the distal convoluted tubule(DCT) and collecting ducts (CD) to be reabsorbed.

Directly causes water to be reabsorbed by the kidney.

Converts angiotensinogen into Ang I.

Released by anterior pituitary

2. Lisinopril is a medication of the angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor class used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and after heart attacks. ACE inhibitors are prescribed to try to protect a weakened or overworked heart from hypertension and ultimate heart failure. They are effective because:

3. Kangaroo rats rarely have to drink water and are able to get almost all of their water from their food. The STRUCTURE of their kidney (not the chemical or hormones released) is the main reason they are able to do this. Suggest what STRUCTURAL ADAPTATION might be found in the kangaroo rat kidney vs. other mammals. Describe HOW this adaptation would allow for greater water conservation.

Case study (mini):

4. When SARS CoV-2 was first spreading through China, it was found that people who had high blood pressure were consistently within the group of people with severely negative outcomes for the virus. The virus appears to attack the lung cells, and cause them to fill with fluid. Many of these individuals were on blood pressure medications, and there was concern that this medication may be causing the virus to cause greater injury in those taking it. People were concerned about continuing to take these medications, but further study has shown that the medications were not the problem, however the RAAS system which controls blood pressure may have some answers.

It has been found that the virus attaches to a second ACE protein called ACE2 which are found primarily in the lung alveoli walls. These enzymes degrade Ang. II. When the virus attaches to these receptors, it blocks them from degrading Ang-II. How could this lead to the fluid build up in the lungs of SARS CoV2 patients?
