I have an essay on choosing a character from the story “Fences” (I will provide the story) and then you just need to follow directions clearly.

INSTRUCTIONS

For this fourth and final short response, I want you to use all of the skills we’ve practiced and discussed throughout the semester, including the new specific ones we’ve discussed in regards to drama, to create a two page critical response that does an analysis on one chosen character. In order to this successfully, you will need to use specific examples of dialogue, character description, and stage direction.

It is important to make sure that you are providing commentary for every specific example. Do not assume that a piece of dialogue or a piece of character description will necessarily be read the same way by your audience. Make sure to use signal phrases like “This shows that Tony is actually _____” or “This helps the reader to understand _______ about Rose” or “This is another example of why Cory is [this way]…”

Lastly, make sure that your response is cohesive and comprehensive. You should not have a collection of a bunch of individual quotes or descriptions with commentary – they should be connected into a singular statement. It would be a good idea to have a thesis somewhere near the beginning of the response – “In the play Fences, the character of Tony is _______ and he represents [these elements] of the post-war African-American experience”. That way, the rest of your character analysis is all pointing back to a single, specific focus.

If you have any questions about this response, make sure to let me know ahead of time. You will technically have a longer window for this response than previous ones, mainly to ensure you have the chance to read the entire play and can use the entire play, but also keep in mind that your final exam is the following day, so use your time over the next 10 days wisely. Additionally, there will be no late submissions for this short response due to the extended window and the end of the semester timeline.

Somewhere, right now, hackers are researching systems and developing new exploits to defeat security controls. Through their efforts, they may gain a deeper understanding of system and network vulnerabilities. Therefore, hackers might be able to conceal, alter, and/or remove traces of their intrusions from IT personnel.

To counter hackers, law enforcement and IT security professionals must be proactive in developing and advancing new technologies. Before they can be deployed, these technologies must be researched and tested extensively—especially digital forensics techniques and tools, which must withstand legal scrutiny.

Post a 350- to 500-word response in which you explain what forensic problems are being investigated and what solutions are proposed. Explain if the problems are gaps in knowledge, limitations, and/or something else. Also, provide an example of how you might apply this research to forensics investigations.
