Choose a podcast episode, listen to it, write a review, and then record yourself reading the review.
By a “review”, I mean a 2 to 3 page (double-spaced) discussion of what you liked and/or didn’t like about the various aspects of podcast production that we have just begun to talk about in class. So, everything from the tone of the speakers’ voices (appropriate for the subject matter &/or the general feel of the show; engaging?) to the sound quality; to use of music and any additional audio, like sound effects; the storytelling (if that’s what they’re doing); the depth of the information they provide; substantiation of their opinions; the entertainment value; the flow of the production (Do the producers do a good job of moving the dialogue onward, and keep you engaged throughout?); verbal economics — When the show is over, do you feel as though the producers covered their focus sufficiently, but without much in the way of “fluff” or unneeded dialogue? There’s other questions you can get into, of course, and different styles of podcasts will have different levels of importance on certain aspects of the production. Email me with any questions.
Here’s the assignment:
You can choose one of the episodes linked below, or if you have a particular podcast that you think may be an influence on your production, feel free to go with an episode from the podcast of your choice.

Movie is the !3th by Ava Duvernay on Netflix.
Complete the assignment in about 3-4 pages double-spaced. Create a title page. The title should be interesting and informative. Do not just lift the title of the movie. The title page should also include your name, class subject, and date. Briefly (no more than two paragraphs) summarize the film. A summary is not an encapsulation of the entire plot.Next, provide a critical review of one or two major points of the film (i.e. important scenes or development of a character). In the review take a firm stance on the particular issue presented by using at least two terms and only one theory (2 pages). Harcum College Misogyny Modern Woman Thesis Paper Writing Assignment Help
For this assignment, you will compose a formal outline for the research paper you will write in the next module. This outline will act as your “road map” as you write the research paper and will include your thesis (revised from the thesis submitted for peer review), the main points your paper will address (including the opposing viewpoint of your argument), and the research you will include to support your main points.
ALSO – I will attach my thesis that I have come up with… the subject I am doing is misogyny.
Thsis: In a world primarily represented by men, it is only a matter of time until women rightfully take their place on the top and in positions of power. With each passing day women around the world are dismantling the ideology that men are superior to women and setting new standards for the human race as a whole while constantly shattering glass ceilings. e

Saint Leo University The Makah Tribe Ethics Case Study Humanities Assignment Help
This week’s module covers the oldest of the moral theories: virtue ethics, as presented by one of the most important philosophers ever, Aristotle.
This week’s WCA is a extended case study of 500 words. In it, you are expected to evaluate a case about the Makah tribe and whale hunting. You need to evaluate the case using 2 of these three moral theories: utility, rights, and/or duty (Kantian ethics). Please do NOT write a research paper on the Makah tribe-focus on the ethical analysis and not the historical circumstances of the tribe please. I have attached a screenshot of the case below, and I have also added the instructions below:
For this module, you are required to complete a Written Case Analysis which will be assessed for depth and breadth. Please read Thinking Critically About Ethical Issues, Case 1, p. 60. Identify the moral issue(s) and the parties involved. Discuss the moral issues you have identified in terms of two the following: utility, duties, rights.
Your analysis should be approximately 500 words in length and all sources should be cited properly using MLA format. Information on the MLA guidelines is accessible via the Resources area of the Course Home menu. Use a standard 10-12 pt. font and double space your paper.
Module 6 Loom link:
https://www.loom.com/share/e13c5c702ac7445dbe275de93ce94757
From the book:
1. The Makah tribe claim to have hunted gray whales for more than 2,000 years. They stopped in the 1920s due to a decline in the number of gray whales. Now they want to return to the hunt to provide food for their tribe and to restore the young men’s sense of discipline and pride in their traditions. Pro-ponents of the hunt claim that a majority of the tribe support the hunt, which is expected to take fewer than the five whales they are permitted by law to kill. Tribal leaders claim they will take no pregnant or nursing females. Some Makah elders disagree, however, pointing out that the tribe survived for most of the twentieth century without eating whale meat and claiming that there are better ways to instill pride and discipline. The environmental community argues that the whale hunt is immoral because it violates the whales’ right to exist on the planet. Is it appropriate for nonmembers of the Makah tribe—for example, students in your class—to evaluate the morality of the Makah whale hunt? Explain.

Zitkala Sa Native American and Assimilation Discussions Humanities Assignment Help
- Many Americans believe that assimilation is the best course for minority groups to thrive in the United States. We will look at that tactic as it was used to “Americanize” Native Americans.
- Read: Zitkala-Sa American Indian Stories.pdf and this on research on assimilation: http://www1.udel.edu/udaily/2012/jan/assimilation-study-010912.html#:~:text=Researchersfindmajorityandminoritygroupsseektoprotecttheirownidentities,-TEXTSIZE&text=233p.m.Jan.,thanmaintainingadistinctidentity
- For this discussion answer:
- What was expected of Zitkala-Sa or her family and what methods were used to bring this about? (there are some obvious methods but also look for patterns or more subtle strategies)
- Is assimilation the best route to success in the United States, why or why not?
-
response to 2 reflections
- 1- What was expected of Zitkala-Sa or her family and what methods were used to bring this about? (there are some obvious methods but also look for patterns or more subtle strategies)It was expected that Zitkala-Sa and her family should assimilate into the dominant white population, taking on this new culture and forgetting their own. Early in the reading one of the main strategies employed by the missionaries was to impress upon the young Native Americans the promises and wonder of the world away from their lives. They told stories of beautiful landscapes and fruits that they could eat all day. This was one way that they attempted to sell white-european based principles to the Native American people. It can be seen to have been effective as many children in Zitkala-Sa’s village were very excited about the opportunity to go to these new lands. Another strategy that was employed to further help the assimilation attempts can be seen at the school that Zitkala-Sa was at. At the start of the day they lined up all of the students there and the new arrivals saw the other students who had already adjusted to the new environment. These new arrivals would have been the minority and were scared by what they had seen, “the bewildering sights had exhausted me”, and would have followed what everybody else was doing until they too had become assimilated into this new society. Is assimilation the best route to success in the United States, why or why not?I do not believe that assimilation is the best route to success in the United States. It is important to keep hold of our culture as that is what makes us different and unique to everybody else. This culture, also, may have been upheld for hundreds of years and is not something that should be thrown away. I also believe that keeping one’s identity and culture would benefit society as society would be full of people who have different backgrounds and experiences and will then be able to contribute meaningfully and effectively to society based on these experiences. Having a society full of culture is something that the US should strive for. After reading the article about assimilation studies maybe my view makes sense because, being an international student, I have an identity that is different from the mainstream culture of America. The study showed that the minority groups often favoured pluralism which I also favour.
- 2- What was expected of Zitkala-Sa or her family and what methods were used to bring this about?Zitkala-Sa was expected to forcefully adapt to a different culture and lifestyle. Her family influenced her and other children that life was way better if they chose assimilation. Education was one of the main reasons her mother and aunt wanted to send her away in hopes she would grow up to be successful. If the children were told the truth, they would be scared to leave home considering their hair was cut, they would have to dress differently, and people mocked them based on their appearance. Is assimilation the best route to success in the United States, why or why not?I would disagree that assimilation is the best route to success in the United States. Having diversity is what helps people individually stand out, it’s a positive atmosphere having different cultures around and learning about different people. Hard work and education will always contribute to the most success no matter what you do, you must try your best to succeed and fulfill your life.

HRM 326 University of Phoenix Employee Discrimination Concern Case Study Business Finance Assignment Help
I have attached the grading rubric.
During a global career succession assessment of leadership talent pipeline, a candidate was asked to complete
a personality/behavioral tendency profile. The candidate asked to speak to the program administrator about the validity of the assessment. The assessment is based on first responses to several sets of word values. The assessment was not used for hiring purposes. The instructions were to respond with first instinct to the set of words listed in several different categories. The candidate stated that some of the words could have different interpretations based on values, beliefs, and cultural origin. Therefore, the validity of the assessment could be biased in terms of results/outcomes. The program administrator removed the weighting of the assessment (not part of the overall assessment scoring) to be used for informational and team building purposes only.
Use the above information to answer the following in 700 to 1,050 words:
- Analyze whether the candidate has a valid discrimination concern about the assessment and specifically the word association activity.
- Determine what EEOC laws could potentially be at risk of violation.
- Evaluate how the assessment could be altered so that it could still be used for the program.
Cite all sources according to APA formatting guidelines. Two references are required.
Submit your case study.
