You receive a call on your cell phone from a medical care provider that a parent (or a spouse) has had a major stroke and is in your local community hospital’s emergency room.
It appears that your parent or spouse will be admitted to the hospital for at least one week, and decisions have to be made by you and your family members on how to care for this individual. Please answer the questions below in your discussion posting:
1. What type of planning have you or your family done for this type of event, and what would be your role in providing care for this parent or spouse?
2. Is there someone in your household that could care for this individual, and if so, what care would be provided and for how many hours a week? Would the care be paid or unpaid?
3. If the hospital tells you that your family member (or spouse) needs rehabilitation services and further evaluation before they are able to return home, what type of long-term care setting would you move your loved one to, and how would you make that decision?
4. If your family member (or spouse) returns home, what types of accommodations would you have to make for them so they could stay at home safely? If your family member cannot return home, what type of long-term care setting would you choose for your loved one and why?

- What implementations need to be done due to audit findings?
- Propsed recommendations after learning the findings of the audit?
- What are the Internal and external coding requirements
- Be sure to educate the employees and include information on the purpose and function of International Classification of Diseases. Why are these codes so important? Who Developed ICD and why?
- Identify the development, regulations, and guidelines for ICD-10-CM.
- Your project should include a detailed outline of your training and a PowerPoint presentation.
- Identify the purpose of an internal and external audit and describe the difference between the two audits.

Reflect: As you learn about American Imperialism and the Progressive Era, think about the relationship between these two historical developments, comparing and contrasting Progressive policies at home with their policies abroad.
Consider the areas of American society and economy in need of reform during the first two decades of the 20th century. Think about the domestic issues on which the Progressive Movement focused, such as food safety, worker’s safety, women’s rights, economic inequality, and taxes. Evaluate their approach to these issues. Think about the factors that contributed to American Imperialism and America’s expanding role in the world. Consider the importance of the expansion of the Navy, the technological advancements, the need for markets brought on by the Industrial Revolution, and the experience of the peoples in America’s imperial holdings. Take the time to notice President Theodore Roosevelt’s role in promoting American Imperialism. Consider the stances that progressives took on various issues, were these stances consistent with the practice of imperialism? - Assignment 2: Annotated Bibliography Assignment 2: The Annotated BibliographyObjective: Assess sources for your research paper (for credibility, reliability and relevance) and list references in proper APA formatAssignment Instructions: The Research Project/Paper for this class is divided into three major Assignments, 1) annotated bibliography, 2) abstract, and 3) final paper. The first part is the annotated bibliography. An annotation* (see note on annotations vs. abstracts below) is a is a summary and/or evaluation, and your annotated bibliography will include a summary and/or evaluation of each of the sources (or references) you will use for your paper.Your paper must include a minimum of three sources and these are to be included in this assignment, i.e. you are to write an annotation for each source. However you must use five or more sources in your final paper. The reason the annotated bibliography is included as part of the research paper is because writing an annotated bibliography is important in that it provides excellent preparation for the final paper. One of the issues regarding any type of research, especially in the biosciences, medical, health/nutrition and exercise/fitness fields, is the credibility of the sources used, particularly those obtained from various websites. By forcing you to carefully evaluate each of your potential sources, the annotated bibliography helps you determine if in fact the source you chose is credible and also helps you determine how relevant it is to your topic and understand the topic better which will help you write your paper. For this project, your annotated bibliography will include: 1) a complete citation for each source, 2) a summary of each source, 3) an assessment/evaluation of each source, and 4) a critique of each source. Three sources are required.
- Citation:
Written in APA format. For more help with formatting, see APA handout.
- Summary:
What is purpose of the source, review article, original research? What topics are covered? This is generally 1 -3 sentences that summarize the author’s main point. For more help, see this link on paraphrasing sources.
- Assessment:
After summarizing the article (or research paper or book) it is necessary to evaluate it and also where you found it – its source (e.g. journal, website, etc). Briefly answer the following questions:What is the format or type of source. How reliable is the information in the article and how credible is the source and the author(s)? Is this article biased or objective? For more help, see this handout on evaluating resources.
- Critique:
Once you’ve summarized and assessed a source, you need to ask how it fits into your research. Why is this source relevant to your research paper and how can you use this source in your research project? What are the strengths and weaknesses? It is biased in any way? Compare the source with other sources in your bibliography.
*Annotations vs. Abstracts
Annotations in an annotated bibliography perform three functions: specify the source, evaluate the source, and critique the source. The annotation is a concise description of a particular source. It enables the researcher to establish the relevance of a specific journal article, book, research report, or government document, etc. Abstracts, on the other hand, are descriptive summaries that precede scholarly journal articles or can be found standing alone in periodical databases and are more detailed in this respect. Later in the course, Assignment 3 will specifically cover the abstract.Additional Resources:

BELOW IS THE PROJECT I IDENTIFIED IN WEEK 1 DISCUSSION 1:
MS Project
Our company manufactures and sells matchsticks. Due to high demand, we produce the products on order. Most of our customers order between one hundred and two hundred boxes. Before the closure of the day, yesterday, one of our customers increased his order from two hundred to five hundred boxes. He wants the boxes produced within the same time that we usually produce the two hundred. The management wants us to minimize the costs to be able to offer the client a discount to encourage him to give us more business than before. The scope of the project is two days. The most significant constraint is the cost. The estimated budget can raise due to an increase in fuel. However, giving this customer a good discount is necessary. The use of Microsoft Excel is tedious and may have some errors as I will have to calculate elsewhere and feed the answers. The MS project requires a small setting, and all calculations are done automatically.
The first of the PMBOK process group is the initiating. It involves the skills, activities and processes required to define the start of the project. The second one is the planning which sets out the process required to define the project’s scope. Thirdly is the executing process which involves managing the team effectively (Hornstein, 2015). The fourth one is monitoring and control which involves mitigating unforeseen circumstances likely to affect the ability if the team to meet the needs of the project. Lastly, is the closing which involves successfully closing the project within the budget and on time. The most difficult is the executing process group which involves managing teams effectively. It is difficult because team members have varying personalities, talents and skills. For example, the most hardworking and skilled member may have a short temper and may make other members uncomfortable working with him.
