Nova Southeastern University Marketing Processes Discussion Replies Business Finance Assignment Help

I’m working on a marketing discussion question and need support to help me study.

1-Hi,

How might you group these countries together? I published a paper on the purchases of bicycle brands in 11 different countries. I found out that there brands that sold well in Mexico, the U.S. and Canada. Two other regions were Australia and New Zealand and the last was regions of Europe. Generally in Europe they had a geographic connection. Is this similar to how you view your regional approach?

2-Standardization is not just a yes/no thing. Global standardization suggests that selling a similar product at a set rate across the board, with the same means of advertisement. In more recent years, multinational companies have grown exponentially and have sought to benefit from standardizing certain parts. By standardizing, there is the opportunity to save cost, build a consistent customer base which leads to a better control and understanding of the market, however things will not be exact. As barriers lift across the nations, many companies have seen the benefits of expanding beyond their home lands. It can be seen as beneficial financially as It expands the companies financial market, but management wise it could be an issue. According to Liu, 2016, the problem with confronting management in a multinational company is different than that of the traditional firm.

The utilization of seminars, conferences, and surveys can be used to keep an open line of communication. As mentioned before, things will vary between countries. It would also be best beneficial for local management to handle to way in which a plan is completed for their particular region. Knowing your customers is important with any good advertisement plan. To be completely standardized, the same products would have to be offered, for the same price, and with the same promotions. Similar to how Publix has a weekly ad across all stores, advertising the same deals, whether you are here in Lee County, or Orlando. It is a standardize sale that lasts Thursday to Wednesday of each week. Rao-Nicholson & Khan, 2017 explain that profit is determined not only by income and price, but also standardization.

Duncan & Ramaprasad, 2015 explain that standardization can be beneficial as it is universal and buyers all have the same needs. Some have suggested cross mixing with parts of the market, while others adapt to the conditions of the market. By doing so, both systems are at play, and if one does not work out, the other is there to help find to best solution.

3-Adaptation may be necessary not only for products but also for marketing and communication programs. The content of the advertising is highly influenced by cultural factors, making adaptation frequently necessary in international markets (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). Advertising adaptation, including the adaptation of product positioning, brand names, packaging messages, and sales promotions, can be driven by competitive pressures in export markets (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). The media, the public, product lines, company objectives, legal constraints, and the availability of infrastructure are often cited as factors that influence the adaptation of advertising messages and promotional approaches (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). Other aspects such as the nature of the buyers’ consumption process, language, and market segments also play an important role when considering the adaptation strategy. Differences in the availability, suitability, and cost of advertising media complicate the international promotion of products (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). For example, an important difference in this area is the absence of advertisements on television and radio in some countries or the restrictions in other countries. While in certain respects the markets may be similar enough to use a uniform advertising message, the dangers of going too far with standardization are present in part due to persistent national biases (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). Market conditions indicate that an adaptive strategy should be used for both the product and communication aspects when there are differences in the culture, use, and function of the product (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). It is also important to note that product adaptation can be minimized when positioning, branding, and promotion are used in a coordinated manner to suit local conditions, making product adaptation less important (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995).

The strategy of standardization is based on the fact that buyers around the world generally share the same needs, so that universal appeals can be used to convince them all (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). This approach is attractive for basically four reasons. The first is that it allows multinationals to maintain a consistent identity and image around the world (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). Second, it minimizes confusion for shoppers who travel frequently (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). The third reason is that it allows the multinational company to develop a unique advertising campaign and coordinate it in different markets (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). Finally, this approach allows for considerable cost savings (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995).

The adaptation strategy is based on the use of different messages to reach buyers in different markets, adapting them to the particularities of each country (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). According to this approach, there are innumerable differences of cultural, economic, legal, media, and product types, between countries and even between regions of the same country, so it becomes necessary to adapt or develop new marketing strategies for each market (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009). Furthermore, the proponents of adaptation confirm the existence of anecdotal evidence that qualifies the assumption that buyers from foreign markets have the same purchase motivations as a simplistic and dangerous assumption (Vrontis, Thrassou & Lamprianou, 2009).

The decision to standardize or adapt cannot be considered a dichotomous decision. There are normally degrees of standardization in international marketing (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). Several scholars suggest that the desired option is to standardize certain aspects of the marketing mix while others adapt to market conditions (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995). In this way, these two strategies could be the two opposite poles in a continuum, so that when making decisions, if an aspect cannot be standardized, it must be adapted, and therefore it is necessary to decide which adaptations are more appropriate in each situation (Duncan & Ramaprasad, 1995).

I’m working on a law question and need a sample draft to help me study.

Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Since 2010, law enforcement agencies in America have been using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to locate criminal activity in America. Share your responses to the following points:

  • Define Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and discuss how these vehicles are used by law enforcement agencies.
  • Identify how drones are used currently and by which agencies.
  • Discuss how states are reacting to the prospect of using drones to collect evidence.
  • Explain your opinion on whether a search warrant is required before a drone can be flown over or near private property for the purpose of obtaining evidence of criminal activity.
  • Discuss the other legitimate uses of drones as a law enforcement resource.

Note: Conduct external research to adequately address these points.

New England College of Business and Finance Early Use of Computers Question Computer Science Assignment Help

I’m working on a computer science question and need an explanation to help me understand better.

Research Paper: This is a graduate course and students will be expected to research and write papers summarizing in their own words what they have found on current topics from the weekly readings. Research is a theoretical review of relevant literature and application of findings in the literature to a topic related to a specific industry, field, or business problem.

The research must be conducted using peer-reviewed trade or academic journals. While Blogs, Wikipedia, encyclopedias, course textbooks, popular magazines, newspaper articles, online websites, etc. are helpful for providing background information, these resources are NOT suitable resources for this research assignment.

Please Note: The UC Library staff are very helpful with assisting students in using the UC Online Library journal database. Please contact them if you have issues. In addition, the instructor has provided additional resources, including a research tutorial, in the “Course Resources” folder in the “Content” area of the course.

Assignment Requirements:

  1. Choose a research topic from the chapter readings or from the list provided by your professor.
  2. Research/find a minimum at least four (4), preferably five (5) or more, different peer-reviewed articles on your topic from the University of the Cumberlands Library online business database. The article(s) must be relevant and from a peer-reviewed source. While you may use relevant articles from any time frame, current/published within the last five (5) years are preferred. Using literature that is irrelevant or unrelated to the chosen topic will result in a point reduction.
  3. Write a four (4) to five (5) page double spaced paper in APA format discussing the findings on your specific topic in your own words. Note – paper length does not include cover page, abstract, or references page(s).
  4. Structure your paper as follows:
    1. Cover page
    2. Overview describing the importance of the research topic to current business and professional practice in your own words.
    3. Purpose of Research should reflect the potential benefit of the topic to the current business and professional practice and the larger body of research.
    4. Review of the Literature summarized in your own words. Note that this should not be a “copy and paste” of literature content, nor should this section be substantially filled with direct quotes from the article. A literature review is a summary of the major points and findings of each of the selected articles (with appropriate citations). Direct quotations should be used sparingly. Normally, this will be the largest section of your paper (this is not a requirement; just a general observation).
    5. Practical Application of the literature. Describe how your findings from the relevant research literature can shape, inform, and improve current business and professional practice related to your chosen topic.
    6. Conclusion in your own words
    7. References formatted according to APA style requirements
  5. Attach your paper to the Discussion board by the Thursday due date.
  6. Read and respond to at least four (4) other student postings by the Sunday due date.

Grading Criteria:

  • Content Knowledge & Structure (15 points): All of the requested components are completed as assigned; content is on topic and related to managerial finance, critical thinking is clearly demonstrated (few, if any, direct quotations from the source in the paper); scholarly research is demonstrated; topics and concepts gained from the assigned reading and/or from research is evident.
  • Critical Thinking (15 points): Demonstrates substantial critical thinking about topics and solid interpretation of materials and reflection.
  • Clarity & Effective Communication (15 points): Communication is clear, concise, and well presented; scholarly writing is demonstrated; grammar, sentence structure, writing in third person, and word choice is used correctly.
  • Integration of Knowledge & Articles (15 points): Articles used are current and relevant (preferably published within last five (5) years and MUST be from peer-reviewed journal article publications. At least four (4) peer-reviewed journal articles are examined and analyzed in the paper.
  • Presentation & Writing Mechanics (30 points): Cover page, headings, in-text citations, page citations (page number citations required for specific information such as dates, years, list of items from article, names, numbers, statistics, and other specific information), and references are properly formatted.
  • Responses to Other Students (10 points): Substantive responses provided to a minimum of four (4) other students. Responses must provide substantive and meaningful discussion of the content of the other student’s paper and provide comments on the topic; responses must be one (1) to two (2) paragraphs long with a minimum of three sentences per paragraph.

PSCI 118 California Gender Stereotypes Found in these TV Shows Discussion Writing Assignment Help

I’m working on a writing multi-part question and need a sample draft to help me understand better.

Watch cartoons (geared for children) and their commercials, and also watch a non-cartoon, fictional television show and its commercials (e.g., a show geared toward adults). After watching them, write a short essay in which you analyze the gender stereotypes found in these TV shows (and their commercials). When writing your paper, answer the following questions: (0.50 point will be given for proper formatting and academic writing, including page length and proper grammar).

  • What kinds of gender stereotypes were present in the cartoons and the commercials? (0.50 points)
  • What kinds of gender stereotypes were present in the adult show (and its associated commercials)? (0.50 points)
  • Were the gender stereotypes worse or better than those during the television show and commercials you watched that aired in primetime/at night? (0.50 points)
  • Did you expect programming for children to be more or less gender stereotypical? Why or why not? (0.50 points)
  • What kind of effect, if any, do you think these stereotyped characters/behaviors have on the children who watch them? What about the adults? Explain your answer. (0.50 points)

Formatting:

– All assignments should be at least one full page of text, double spaced, with 1” margins all around, and no extra spaces between paragraphs; also, you should use a Sans Serif font (e.g., 11pt Calibri, 11pt Arial, or 10pt Lucida Sans Unicode) or a Serif font (e.g., 12pt Times New Roman, 11pt Georgia, or 10pt Computer Modern).

– Although it is usually good practice to include your name on your assignments, you do not actually need to include your name on these assignments, because – by virtue you submitting your assignment via Canvas – your name will automatically be associated with your assignment. That being said, if you do include identifying information (e.g., your name) directly on your assignment, that identifying information will NOT count toward your 1 page minimum. For example, if you use two lines to write your name and student ID number, then your assignment should end on at least line #2 of page #2 in order to meet the minimum 1-page requirement.

– If the small assignment prompt has several questions for you to answer, it is OK (and perhaps, preferable) for you to write your assignment in a question & answer format (where you write the question from prompt question #1, then write your answer to prompt question #1, then write prompt question #2, and the write your answer to prompt question #2, etc.).

– If you choose to write your assignment in an essay format (as opposed to Q & A format). please be sure to break your writing up into paragraphs.

– Your assignment must be at least one full page long….and it is also perfectly OK if your assignment is more than 1 full page long.

In Your Own Words. Your assignments must be written in your own words. Although it is OK to use direct quotes very sparingly (i.e., no more than one or two short direct quotes per assignment), those direct quotes must be in quotes and properly cited (i.e., author, year, and page number). Using more than two (properly cited, in quotes) direct quotes in an assignment will result in lost points – and using any direct quotes that are not properly cited (i.e., not in quotes and/or missing the author, year, and page number) will result in a zero for the assignment. We want to see that you can form your own long phrases and sentences, not that you can copy and paste long phrases and sentences that were written by someone else.
