The Project Change Management Subsidiary Plan

Change Management is an important part of any project. It is a core feature of the ‘Integration Management’ practice area in a structured project plan. When changes are requested, or required, they must be reviewed, assessed, prioritized, and acted upon (approved or rejected) to ensure that there is a thorough understanding of the impact of the proposed change on the project. This will include on the scope, schedule, budget, and intended quality of the deliverables, both product and process. The process for submitting, reviewing, and approving changes must also be communicated to all stakeholders in order to properly set expectations. If changes are allowed and implemented in and unorganized way (scope creep,) then the project will be at risk. The Project Communications Management Subsidiary Plan

This Communications Management Plan sets the communications framework for this project. The Project Procurement Management Subsidiary Plan

The Procurement Management Plan should be defined to a level of detail to clearly identify the necessary steps and responsibilities for procurement from the beginning to the end of a project. The project manager must ensure that the plan facilitates the successful completion of the project and does not become a burden of and in itself to manage.
