Include an introduction that contains an argument explaining how you will answer the question, the body of the essay with specific examples that support your argument (3 paragraphs to separate your points, you may need more depending on the response) and a conclusion. Possibly expect to write at least 5 paragraphs for each. You should expect to write about 1 to 1 1/2 pages typed double spaced for each. The essay should be well organized, argued and supported with specific examples from the textbook. Draw some own conclusions for each question as well.
These are the topics to be written about-
1. Discuss the major changes that occurred in American agriculture during the second half of the nineteenth century (1850-1900).
2. Discuss the characteristics of the American population in the late nineteenth century and analyze the nature of immigration into the country during that period.
3. Discuss the factors that brought about the failure of the United States to ratify the Treaty of Versailles.
Information and cited things from the text.-
Here is the text needed https://d3bxy9euw4e147.cloudfront.net/oscms-prodcm… Only chapters 17-23 are needed
Quotations, paraphrases, statistics, interpretations and significant phraseology taken from our textbook need to be cited. The author and page number is sufficient. As an example – (Nash, 631).
Additional Structure (If needed)
Every essay should have an introduction, a body and a conclusion. The introduction explains why the topic of the paper is interesting and significant and wets the reader s appetite for what is to come. It should include a thesis statement, which clearly defines the argument you will be presenting in the paper. An argument takes a stand on an issue. It seeks to persuade an audience of a point of view. A thesis statement asserts an argument about a topic and then describes, briefly, how you will prove that argument. Your thesis can be a few sentences long, but should not be longer than a paragraph. The body of the paper, which will obviously be the longest section, presents the evidence in an orderly and systematic fashion. Special attention should be given to connecting one point with the next, so that the whole argument flows smoothly and convincingly. This means the use of topic sentences in each paragraph that support your thesis and argument. The conclusion, which should never be a mere summary of the preceding argument, must include some generalization about the broader significance of the findings of the paper.
Thank you!

Leslie Marmon Silko Passage Reflective Essay Humanities Assignment Help
Throughout the semester you have engaged in many different types of writing, all for different purposes. Now the time has come for a bit of reflection regardingthe craft itself. I often find it helpful to turn to those who have spent a lifetime pondering the act of writing. Below are two quotations that I would like you to think about:
“I write in order to find out what I truly know and how I really feel about certain things. Writing requires me to go much deeper into my thoughts and memories than conversation does. Writing provides the solitude necessary to reflect on being in this world.” –Leslie Marmon Silko
Writing is tough work;I don’t see how anyone can really write from a position of weakness. Sometimes I may start out in that position, but the act of commandeering words flips me into a position of power.” –Dodie Bellamy
For your final project, I’d like you to reflect on these quotes a bit, thinking about whether or not you agree with them and how they might be relevant to the study of rhetoric. Some questions to think about:
1.What do you think Silko and Bellamy meant, and to what extent do you agree with their quotes?
2.How do you think these quotes might apply to the study of rhetoric, specifically the way we’ve engaged with its many forms in this class?
3.Finally, reflect back on this semester a bit. How have your abilities improved or changed through our study of different kinds of writing? What project was the most meaningful to you and why? How might you use the skills you’ve learned here after you leave the university?
Your reflection should be around 3 double-spaced pages.

Saint Xavier University Archeological Sites of the Neolithic Revolution Questions Writing Assignment Help
hello for this assignment you will need to READ all of the readings provided for you in links and attachments.
please keep in mind that all of the questions have to be answered mainly based off the readings provided. so with that being said, please do not search everything up.
the following instructions below are for the assignment. as well as the questions. NO PLAIGRISM!
I REPEAT YOU WILL BE DOING SOME READING !! AND RESEARCH TO ANSWER THESE! NOT SOLELY RESEARCH.
The point values of the questions add up to 150 points and the exam is graded out of 100 (so this is a big make-up opportunity!), but this time not all the questions have the same point value. Answers to questions 1 and 2 should be about 350-600 words in length, scale your answers to the other questions accordingly. Make sure to read the questions carefully, understand what is being asked, and provide information that is relevant and answers the questions. A significant part of the work of answering these questions is just reading them carefully and understanding exactly what is being asked. Another big part of it is looking through the course readings and your notes for the right answers.
These questions cover the whole time period covered in the course, from human origins to 1600—you may find it useful to refer to the study guides for exams 1 and 2 to review. As always, you may refer to outside sources if you get stuck. You have the whole internet at your disposal, so use it! But do not plagiarize, obviously. Also, using the internet to collect information that does not actually answer the questions may contribute to your education, but it will not help your grade.
1. (40 points) Review the sections in Reilly (and Wikipedia, if you want) on the Neolithic Revolution. Look at Khatayi’s description of Mongols in the conclusion of the Book of China, European accounts of Native Americans, and Ibn Fadlan’s account of Russia and compare what these authors say to what we know about Neolithic life, based on Neolithic archeological sites. Based on these texts, would it be accurate to say that many people between 900 and 1600 lived in a mostly Neolithic world? In what ways would it be accurate to say this, in what ways would it be inaccurate? (Also, make sure to read all sources critically—they may have been wrong about things, lied, exaggerated… Khatayi writes a lot about Mongols—you may find it useful to compare this to whatever else we read about Mongols. Same obviously applies to Europeans writing about Native peoples of the Americas.)
2. (30 points) Between 1325 and 1354, Ibn Battutah traveled from his home in present-day Morocco to India and possibly as far as Beijing, traveling through both Central Asia and the Indian Ocean. He did not have a private navy or army, and he was not fabulously wealthy, meaning that he had to communicate and negotiate with people, and earn money, to get from one place to another. What made it possible for him to travel these huge distances? What connected these different parts of the world in that time? (Hint: you can find your answers both in Reilly and also by reviewing general facts about the world in the early-to-mid-1300’s, and finally by comparing him to other travelers from the 1300’s and 1400’s.)
3. (20 points) Which ancient Chinese political philosophy does the depiction of China in the Book of China most resemble and why? (In other words, if all you knew nothing about Ming China, and all you had to go by was some knowledge of ancient Chinese classics and the Book of China, what philosophy would you think was most influential in China around 1500?)
4. Look at the two maps in this article and compare it to the locations of the oldest complex societies or “civilizations” in the Eastern Hemisphere—the places where cities and complex societies emerged between 4000 and 1000 BC. https://bigthink.com/strange-maps/bees-world-map
b) (20 points) What do these places have in common based on the map, and what might be a biological explanation for this fact? How might bee biodiversity (beeodiversity, if you will) have to do with the origins of complex societies?
bb) (20 pts) Compare the beeodiversity map to the maps of Ibn Battutah’s travels https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_Battuta (see especially the 1332-47 map: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibn_Battuta#Itinerary_13321347 ). Ibn Battutah was not looking for new kinds of bees, so what is going on here? (Hint: it might have partly to do with other animals.)
bbb) (20 pts) At about what point in time (give a range of about 300 years—say, 1700-2000 AD) do the biggest concentrations of human economic activity stop being on bee hotspots, and what are the reasons for this change? (Hint: look at what we have read in Reilly & Wikipedia on the histories of Europe, India, and China, also at the slide shows from class on Europe and China.)
