You will research and write a paper analyzing the cultural perspectives of doing business in another nation. Your professor will provide a list of approved nations from which you will choose one nation. After reading your paper, the reader should be able to comprehensively answer the following research questions. Thus, the research questions form the major aspects (APA Level 1 headings) of your outline.?What are the major elements and dimensions of culture in this region? (See Satterlee: Chapter 2 for a list of the 6 required dimensions.)?How are these elements and dimensions integrated by locals conducting business in the nation? 

Assignment: Field Notes 2

During Week 2, you identified an indigenous group and shared the reasons for your selection. This week, you take a closer look at the group that you have identified by examining its culture. What is culture? Culture is the learned, shared understandings among a group of people. Culture helps to explain how people live, behave, and act and how to interact with others. In this week’s Field Notes, you examine elements of the culture of an indigenous group.

To prepare for this Assignment:

• Review the assigned chapters in the Omohundro course text.
• Review the indigenous group that you selected in Week 2.
• Choose two elements of culture from your selected indigenous group. (Note: Elements of culture might include rituals, religious beliefs and practices, marriage customs, gender roles, celebrations, birthdays, holidays, economic, government or social systems.)

This unit will enable you to build a sound theoretical and practical understanding of the formulation
and management of the marketing communication process, using leading industry analytical tools.
You will examine marketing communication strategies in the context of the highly competitive and
fast-moving global fashion industry. The return on investment and the financial accountability and
pressure to deliver business results will be considered in the context of integrated marketing
communication strategies.

Assessment and Project Brief

The assessment for this unit requires that you critically analyse a selected aspect (to be
approved by the unit tutor) of a chosen brand’s marketing communications mix.

Selected brand is Hermes.

– You are asked to identify an opportunity to increase the brand value and propose a rejuvenation
strategy that will better fit with luxury’s future audience. You will be required to outline the
strategy/solutions with detailed explanation and justify those strategic solutions.

-You will take the role of a consultant and produce a case analysis report that highlights the importance of strategic thinking, planning, decision-making, and implementation in the specific context of your chosen path. The case should examine challenges and/or opportunities and use innovative approaches to prepare a strategic response, within the chosen specialist path.

-The case study report needs to be academically robust with theoretical underpinning, and presented appropriate to the audience assumable to be executives of the proposed fashion company.
