  3. Describe why you chose the genre (letter, email, memo) you did for each correspondence. Given what you have learned since making that decision, do you still believe the genre you chose to be the right one for the job?
  4. Double-check your format for each genre and document. Do you need to make revisions to format?
  5. Look at the writing style you use in each document. Are your documents appropriate in tone? If you were the target audience, would you be satisfied with the document? What could you change to give the document a more effective tone?
  6. Again, look at writing style in each document. What changes need to be made to make the document more concise? Do your paragraphs have clear topic sentences? Does each paragraph have one subject?

BUSS 6002 Sydney Predicting Recommendation for An Online Clothing Retailer Report Programming Assignment Help

I provide all the information in the file. please read carefully, and I also provide one ipynb that i did so far.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vovLRSPiwAnnifvHp…

Tasks Data Understanding: Conduct a thorough EDA to gain a better understanding of the given data and business objectives. This includes but not limited to: checking/dealing with missing data and outliers if any; top popular items sold and their characteristics; recommendation and rating patterns across departments and product types. buying and reviewing behavior of different age groups, etc. Carefully present your analysis and findings in your report.

Build a Benchmark Model to Predict Recommendation: Build a simple logistic regression model to assess the feasibility of recommendation prediction and establish a baseline model. For this task, you are required to build your baseline model using bag of words of the review text only. Use scikit-learn’s logistic regression model with “solver” set to ‘liblinear’ and all other parameters set to default. Use scikit-learn’s CountVectorizer with “max_features” set to 500 and all other parameters set to default. You need to choose appropriate evaluation metrics and model evaluation strategies to validate your model. Present your analysis and discuss your findings. Improving Your Benchmark Model: You are required to make attempts to improve the performance of your benchmark model as much as you can. You should consider using more advanced feature engineering techniques and adding extra features to rebuild your model. Your choice of decisions should be justified based on the evidence from the data and accompanied by detailed explanation. You must properly validate your model and optimize appropriate hyperparameters that apply. Simply building a model without any consideration of validation and optimisation does not meet the minimum requirements. You should demonstrate evidence of your efforts and you will be assessed based on the depth of your exploration. Provide a summary of what has worked and what has not. Report on your improved models and make comparisons with the benchmark model. Note: You must use logistic regression and no other models are allowed for this task. Interpreting Results: Decide on your best model and provide analysis and interpretation of its behavior. For example, you may report on the features associated with positive/negative recommendation. For your interpretation, you should focus on identifying general rules that might be useful for the company to improve its business in the future. Final Test Results: Finally, apply your best model on the test data. You are asked to report the classification results on the test data. Save your results into a csv file containing two columns, one for the Review Index (ID from product_test.csv) and the other column Recommended for the predicted labels (1’s or 0’s). An example file of test results test_results_example.csv is also provided. Name your file as GroupID_Test_Results.csv. The results on the test data will be assessed to decide your group performance among the entire class (group competition!).

Professor notes:

Class

This week we are discussing the basics of capital budgeting. We will look at long-term (fixed) asset acquisition decisions, which involve the expenditure of capital funds. Such decisions commonly are called capital budgeting decisions because the listing of all capital investments (projects) to be undertaken in the future is known as the capital budget. Capital budgeting decisions are among the most critical decisions that health services managers must make. For the Week 8 DQ, you have to identify two programs to analyze. You can’t use Project A and B. You must replace these with a patient program. Remember you have to select patient programs to replace Project A and B.

HHS 310 Ashford University Week 3 Theory Models Applied Discussion Writing Assignment Help

Original Post:

Theory Models Applied

What situations have you witnessed or experienced where one or more of the theory models in this chapter could have been applied? What would have been the strengths and weaknesses of two of the models? Why? Reply in 250-300 words. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts 100 words each response.

Instructions, respond to 2 classmates with 100 words each, see classmates below:

Classmate #1 Emily Williamson

Theory Models Applied

What scenarios or situations have you witnessed or experienced where one or more of the theoretical models in the chapter could have been applied?

I believe the crisis theory is relevant in most relationships. I was at work one time when a younger girl was worried about her relationship. The initial thought is shared, then the conversation began to turn to an argument, then the worker was bothered for the rest of the shift. Since “the goal of the worker is to help the client with the immediate problem, regain equilibrium, and function anew, hopefully on a higher level than before, for crisis provides a significant opportunity for growth. Work is time-limited, and it is focused on the immediate goal of regaining equilibrium. Dealing with underlying conflicts and problems is not the goal of the work” (Levine, 2013, p. 149).

The intervention that would not have worked as well is the behavior modification, which is “damned as being mechanistic, manipulative, unethical, and applicable only in controlled situations not suited to a free society” (Levine, 2013, p. 152). When concerning my situation at work, if I had approached the coworker and told her to stop doing what she is doing, or turn off her phone, or get back to work; she may be too distracted and hurt herself, she may think the circumstances are not fair and walk out in the middle of a shift, or she could have snapped at me and destroyed our working relationship.

What would have been the strengths and weaknesses of the two models?

The crisis in the intervention was the strongest. It can be applied to my scenario because, as a coworker, I cannot allow the team to weaken. What I did was to recommend the employee to take some time to catch their breath, relax, and come back in a few minutes when they are ready. The employee was able to take a quick break and have a moment to realize their priorities in the workplace. The weakness of this model is that I have to approach the coworker and inform them I can recognize something is wrong, which may extend her capacity of anxiety and stress at work, creating an even more detrimental outcome.

The behavior modification model may have been the breaking point, she may be having a hard time getting the next promotion, or maybe the relationships she has keeps ending the same way, or even her life with family is chaotic. She feels lost or has no one or where to turn. If I were to tell the girl that she cannot act like that here at work, she might not have a home to go to, or money to go out after so many stressors, or even no person to go to at all because she lost the person who cared about her.

Why?

The most important relationship of the crisis theory is that I could lend a hand, without prying into the business of another individual, which is sometimes the most necessary emotionally. Just as similarly as “Mrs. Aronson was able to mobilize her ability and energy to reason and plan, helped her to think of steps to be taken-to use her coping ability” (Levine, 2013, p. 151). I was able to help, not hurt, in a moment of crisis.

“Depending on how it is used, behavior modification can be a growth experience for individual clients, or it can be destructive, even when the desired behavioral changes take place” (Levine, 2013, p. 152). Approaching the situation with adequate care is necessary at the moment, and without an appropriate response, the behavior modification request can be further damaging.

Classmate #2 Sarah Chaplin

A situation where I saw behavior modification theory is with my parents and my youngest brothers. My brothers from the time they were born have always gotten away with everything. They have done everything from stealing from me to causing physical harm to me. In all the instances they got away with their bad actions I was made to be the bad guy. Since they always get their way, when they finally get told no they pull a tantrum and make our lives hell. When they do this they want the attention and when they don’t get the attention they stop and calm down and eventually comes and apologizes.

Some strengths are they can condition people to change their habits. Conditioning others can be a pro and a con. If you condition bad behaviors they just think they can get away with it more and test the waters for other things. If you condition good behaviors they know what is good to do and will try to do more good behaviors. Some weaknesses are it can be abused easily depending on the situations given.
