## Make a Powerpoint/Auditioning for a Reality TV Show, communications homework help Business Finance Assignment Help

For this presentation, pretend you are auditioning for a reality TV
show (it can be a real or fictitious show). You must use three personal
items to effectively describe who you are and why you should be selected
for the show – imagine it’s like a Show & Tell speech from elementary school. You are to tell the audience why you chose the items and why you should be picked for the show.

1. Introduction (tell us your name, preview your objects, grab the audience’s attention)

2. Body (further discuss your three objects and why they are important, connect each with transitions)

3. Conclusion (make a last impression, restate why you should be selected for the show)

This is for my public speaking class. The PowerPoint does not have to be long. I just can’t think of three objects to use and what to say. This “speech” is only 1-2 minutes, so it doesn’t have to be long. Just make a powerpoint with three different objects and then write a short introduction, body, and conclusion (as stated above) in a Word Document or just sent in text through here. I mostly just need the three objects and why they are important and why I should be chosen for the reality show.

Unless you have a better idea (and ask me first), the reality show I am choosing is Startup U (look it up if you’ve never seen it- It was on ABC Family.)

Thanks!!

# Faith and Spanish Discussion

You’re going to take some time to read a Bible story (in English) thoroughly until you know the story well. Then you’re going to present the story (in Spanish) to your classmates in the discussion forum. The goal here is not to translate the actual words from the biblical text from English to Spanish, but to retell the story in your own words in Spanish. Use the media in the discussion forum to create a video/audio recording of you doing this.

As you listen to other students’ presentations be sure to ask them (in Spanish) about some of the details and events of the story as well as their own thoughts about the story.

## Biology: Thoughts regarding discussion about Stem Cells, writing homework help Science Assignment Help

Raina had taken the time to inform herself about the ongoing ES cell debate. She learned that ES cell lines are obtained by removing a group of cells, called the inner cell mass, from an embryo that is about five days old (also known as a blastocyst), and growing the cells in a Petri dish. The cells are prized by researchers because they are pluripotent, meaning that they have the potential to differentiate into a wide range of different types of cells if properly stimulated. Proponents of ES cell research say that such cells could be used to cure conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cystic fibrosis, and spinal cord injuries. In addition, ES cells could be studied to help scientists understand the basic processes of human development, and used to test new drugs.

ES cell research opponents say that it should be restricted because it requires the destruction of human life. Raina found this issue to be one of great concern. She learned that the ES cell lines currently used for research are obtained from embryos left over from in vitro fertilization (IVF). These embryos are voluntarily donated, and otherwise would be discarded. Raina wondered if embryos, even those so early in development, should be considered human beings. If so, then producing an excess of them for IVF and then discarding them would be wrong. Might it also be wrong to benefit from their sacrifice?

Raina had read about stem cells from other sources besides embryos. Some, known as embryonic germ cells, may be obtained from aborted or miscarried fetuses, but this source is subject to the same sort of controversy as ES cells. Some very promising results have come from research using stem cells taken from the umbilical cord and placenta, and adult tissues such as bone marrow and parts of the brain. In fact, some of these non-embryonic cells have already been used to treat medical conditions, including blood disorders, spinal cord injury and heart attack damage. Such stem cells are obtained without harming embryos or fetuses, and for this reason their use meets with few ethical objections. However, they appear to be more limited in their ability to differentiate than ES cells.

Post your thoughts, comments, experiences!!!! Reminder: to receive the total points- you must substantively respond to at least 2 other posts.
