Technology. Writing Assignment Help

We live in a world where more and more of our lives — our working lives and our individual and social lives — are mediated by technology.

At work we work with information and we work in ways determined by information processes that dictate how and what we work on, measure our productivity, monitor our activities. And these information processes can be used to reward our work or to discipline us. And, the mobile tools of communication allows more and more of our work lives and work selves to intrude on and influence our personal private lives.

In our social and personal lives, we connect with others using technology or are connected to them through social networks. We use tools like texting or social media messages to remain in touch with friends and relatives. We navigate the world using digital maps or apps. We monitor our fitness using apps and wearable devices. We organize our homes using digital assistants. These tools give us freedom and independence but they also create demands on us to remain connected and online at all times. In addition, these devices and networks collect information about us which can be used to influence us through targeted advertising.

Ethical considerations are now more important than ever for those who work with the tools that the networked world has created to collect, manage, analyze, and use data and information. More and more consumers, employees, governments, and civil society are becoming aware of the power in the hands of those who control the networks. If popular suspicion and resentment of the power of tech companies continues, the ethical use of technology will become more and more important for managers and companies. People and their governments can attempt to protect personal privacy through direct action or legislation.

Topics

what basic information about specific trends and ideas does one (you) need to know to live and work successfully and ethically in the networked world.

Specific topics: Choose one of the topics for the essay

Remember all of these topics will require research. Your ideas or opinions must be backed up with evidence.

  1. Management and Tech: As a future manager, what is it important to understand about both the positive and the negative aspects of Information Technology when managing people?
  2. Your workplace: As a future employee, what is it important for you to look for in a future workplace in terms of that workplace’s use of Information Technology, and that workplace’s expectations of your use of and interaction with Information Technology?
  3. Understanding Gen Z: What is it important for managers or companies to know about Gen Z — specifically their use of and dependence on technology — in order to engage them as customers or as employees?
  4. Personal Privacy: What can you do as an individual to attempt to maintain your personal privacy? Is it possible for us to have privacy when there are so many things we do or must do that compromise our privacy? Research some opinions or some tactics people recommend for living a life under your own control.
  5. Responding to the Techlash: There has been a backlash against technology companies. People rely on them but no longer trust them. Any company that works with personal data must now consider that consumers now expect more. When making decisions around managing data, protecting privacy, building ecosystems of partners, and training employees, what ethical standards now make sense for companies? Do some research and suggest three or four key steps companies need to make to create trust.
  6. PO/PC Culture: We live in a world of PO-PC culture (Permanently Online / Permanently Connected). Based on research and on topics such as privacy and the panopticon which we have discussed this term, what are the benefits and downsides to this culture for you as a person and as an employee?
  7. Facial-Recognition: We have read for some time about the use of mass surveillance using cameras with facial-recognition capabilities in China. However, recent news reports show that this technology is now being used in a number of large cities in the US and Canada and in the UK as well as other European countries. What are several (two or three) key issues with this technology? You can consider both advantages and disadvantages.
  8. Define Trust: In the past few years, general faith or trust in technology companies to do the right thing has been challenged by revelations of their practices. How can you use the ideas we have talked about this term around privacy and surveillance to define what trust means in the networked world.

Other requirements

Remember that this is a research report. So, research is required, and proper documentation in APA style — in-text citations and a complete list of References.

Your essay / report must make convincing arguments based on credible evidence and research. It is fine to begin with your own beliefs or ideas about this question, but make sure you can find research to support them.

why email encryption is not possible in between 2 different platforms(Service providers) Writing Assignment Help

Elaborating the Question:

Why Email Encryption Is Difficult :

This is purely a Cryptography subject(Course).

Encrypted email services almost always require some kind of software (like an email client) installed on both the sender’s and the recipient’s devices in order to manage the exchange of public and private keys. If the recipient doesn’t have nodes that can find the keys, you can’t decrypt the message and the encryption becomes worthless. This installation can be mitigated by using a browser app (where the browser hosts the installed software). In this case, users can encrypt messages on the client side and in transit as long as the sender and recipient are using the same service. In other words, if both people are using Gmail, the messages can be encrypted without much extra effort on the user’s part.

*****However, if someone using Gmail wants to send to someone using Hotmail, encryption becomes extremely difficult for the average user to manage. A separate problem is how the keys are created, stored and managed. If many services in an enterprise choose to use master keys for encrypting information in bulk this can improve performance, but can also lead to massive breaches where one hacked key gives a hacker access to many user accounts. Separately, the provider in almost every case keeps a backup of all user keys (in case, for example, they forget their password). In order to be truly secure, a user needs to have the option to forbid the service from keeping a backup key

Field Seminar Humanities Assignment Help

Students should use the attached Assessment document to conduct a full Biopsychosocial assessment with a client at their agency. If the students agency utilizes its own comprehensive assessment form, the student must provide and obtain approval of that form from the field instructor no later than 3 weeks prior to submission in order to submit it for the assignment in lieu of the attached assessment. All students must provide a genogram that captures the family history, relationship, and demographics of the client.

Students should troubleshoot their genograms before final submission especially if using a MAC computer or Genopro software to ensure the genogram will open and can be viewed legibly.

Students should use the attached Treatment example as a
guide to complete a treatment plan with SMART goals with a client at thier
agency.

A Process Recording in social work education is a written format designed to provide a structure for the student to become aware of and gain a greater understanding of themselves in the process of engagement, assessment, and intervention with an individual client/constituent. A process recording in this context is a detailed word for word exchange between the student and the client. As a reflective practice learning tool the process recording assists the student in assessing the degree to which they are applying generalist level knowledge, values, and skills during their interpersonal interactions with clients. Process recordings are integrative and holistic assignments in that they incorporate the skills, theories and interventions learned in other social work courses, particularly direct practice courses.

Your Process Recording must include the seven main sections common to most process recording assignments. Student must use the Process Recording Template (available in D2L). Process Recordings not submitted in the required template will be graded as unsatisfactory. Students must also have their agency based Field Supervisor or Task Preceptor review, provide written feedback, and sign the Process Recording prior to submitting via D2L (original digital/electronic signatures are acceptable). This means that students must plan ahead to ensure that their Field Supervisor has an opportunity to review and sign the process recording BEFORE the due date.

Marketing Plan – (20%)

As a final paper for this course, students are asked to prepare a marketing plan for a nonprofit organization. This assignment must be completed individually. The marketing plan should include graphs, figures, and illustrations.

Marketing Plan Project

Great news! You were just hired at (Your Chosen Charity see below)! They are looking to expand their not-for-profit charity and have hired you to come up with a complete Cause-Related Marketing Plan to raise money for their cause. You should start by researching the charity and comparing similar charities in the area. I have listed some suggestions below to get you started.

Good Luck!

Follow the steps below to get started creating your Marketing Plan Final Project:

  1. Search online for local business/charity competition or national business/charity competition that is similar to your chosen charity. Examine their websites, television advertisements, and any other form of marketing information that you can find. Explore what marketing techniques they are using and explain how your chosen business/charity could use the same or similar techniques. Why have you chosen these techniques, and what are the pros and cons of using these techniques. Please note, this is for research only, this is NOT a specific section in your plan. The information gathered here can be used throughout your plan when creating each section.
  2. Create a strategy that provides details to your plan and how you will achieve these tasks. Think recipe fashion. Do not just provide an ‘end’ result; explain how the result will be achieved. For example, if you have chosen to do a 5K run to raise awareness and funds, you then should create a strategy or recipe for putting this together. Please note, this is for research and planning, this is NOT a specific section in your plan. The information gathered here can be used throughout your plan when creating each section.
  3. The following components are required within your marketing plan: Title page, executive summary, 4 P’s of marketing, SWOT analysis, segmentation, sales forecasts, and strategy. APA formatting is required. Please check at the library or online for APA guidelines that are current. These are NOT all the possible sections that can be included within your plan. These sections should just get you started. Please refer to your textbook as needed or search online for additional sections that may apply to your chosen charity.
  4. The marketing plan should be a minimum of 10 pages long and should not exceed 20 pages. The page count DOES NOT include the title page, table of contents, references, or appendix. All references used must be properly cited per APA guidelines (title page, double spacing, page numbering, Times New Roman font style and 12-point font size)

Please be creative and have fun! Do not wait until the last minute to work on this. Please ask your instructor if you have any questions or need additional assistance.

Komen, American Red Cross, American Civil Liberties Union Foundation, Charity: Water, The Climate Reality Project, Doctors Without Borders, Wildlife Conservation Society, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, American Humanist Association, Oceana, Safe Kids Worldwide, or Charity of Choice (Must be approved by Instructor).

Additionally, this paper must address and discuss the Human Services values (CSHSE standards 14 or 16; see https://cshse.org/membership-resources/standards/) relevant to the topic, and the Saint Leo Core Value that best informs an understanding of the analysis. Correct spelling, grammar, sentence structure is imperative. References must be cited correctly with a reference list included. Paper must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) format. This paper is due to Chalk and Wire on Sunday March 1, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. NO LATE PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

From “Summarizing a Research Article” by UW Psychology Writing Center (2010)

Like an abstract in a published research article, the purpose of an article summary is to give the reader a brief, structured overview of the study. To write a good summary, identify what information is important and condense that information for your reader. The better you understand a subject, the easier it is to explain it thoroughly and briefly. Write a first draft. Use the same order as in the article itself. The number of suggested sentences given in parentheses below is only a rough guideline for the relative length of each section. Adjust the length accordingly depending on the content of your particular article.

  • State the research question and explain why it is interesting.
  • State the hypothesis/hypotheses tested.
  • Briefly describe the methods (design, participants, materials, procedure, what was manipulated [independent variables], what was measured [dependent variables], how data were analyzed.
  • Describe the results. What differences were significant?
  • Explain the key implications of the results. Avoid overstating the importance of the findings.
  • The results, and the interpretation of the results, should relate directly to the hypothesis.

For the first draft, focus on content, not length (it will probably be too long). Condense later as needed. Try writing about the hypotheses, methods and results first, then about the introduction and discussion last. If you have trouble on one section, leave it for a while and try another.

Edit for completeness and accuracy. Add information for completeness where necessary. More commonly, if you understand the article, you will need to cut redundant or less important information. Stay focused on the research question, be concise, and avoid generalities. The Methods summary is often the most difficult part to edit. See the questions under ‘Reading interactively’ to help you decide what is important to include.

Edit for style. Write to an intelligent, interested, naive, and slightly lazy audience (e.g., yourself, your classmates). Expect your readers to be interested, but don’t make them struggle to understand you. Include all the important details; don’t assume that they are already understood.

  • Eliminate wordiness, including most adverbs (“very”, “clearly”). “The results clearly showed that there was no difference between the groups” can be shortened to “There was no significant difference between the groups”.
  • Use specific, concrete language. Use precise language and cite specific examples to support assertions. Avoid vague references (e.g. “this illustrates” should be “this result illustrates”).
  • Use scientifically accurate language. For example, you cannot “prove” hypotheses (especially with just one study). You “support” or “fail to find support for” them.
  • Rely primarily on paraphrasing, not direct quotes. Direct quotes are seldom used in scientific writing. Instead, paraphrase what you have read. To give due credit for information that you paraphrase, cite the author’s last name and the year of the study (Smith, 1982).
  • Re-read what you have written. Ask others to read it to catch things that you’ve missed.
