Instructions:

1. Write a paper about (spear phishing) that has the following sections and components:

1) A title and an Abstract paragraph of 150-200 words to summarize the content of your paper.

2) 5-7 Keywords used in your paper.

3) An Introduction section (about 1 page) to briefly describe your research issue, questions, and your
proposed solution and method.
4) A Literature Review section (1.5 page) that summarizes major existing and published solutions (3
or 4 solutions) to your identified research issue/questions and discusses the strengths and limitations
of each existing solution one by one.

5) A Proposed Solution section (2 pages): Describe your proposal in detail (including test methods,
tools, data, and resources involved), justify its soundness by citing research and theory support,
addressing limitations of existing solutions, using first-hand (preferred) or second-hand data, demos,
graphical figures, tables, or screen captures.
6) A Conclusion section (1 or 2 paragraphs) to recap your paper and state areas for future study.
7) A References section listing all the sources cited in your paper.

3. Minimum Length & Format: 5-6 pages; single space & 2-column, font size 12; see the sample IEEE paper format template and the IEEE editorial style manual provided. APA format is also acceptable.

4. Research Sources: At least (10) reputable sources should be properly listed and cited in your paper.

5. Outline Presentation: Prepare a PowerPoint file of about 5-6 slides to outline your planning for the components of your paper in outline style (keyword summaries and appropriate graphics.

6. Plagiarism: The similarity index should be less than 15%. Minimize direct quotes and give proper documentation to all sources used to avoid high similarity scores.

Essay #3 (Drama)

The majority of your grade in this course comes from a sequence of papers based on the assigned literature. This assignment should use at least 2 sources. One source should be a scholarly book or article (secondary source) published within the last ten years. One source will be your textbook. This means your Works Cited page should have at least 2 sources altogether. Use quotes from the textbook and your other source to support your thesis. Note: you may not use online sources such as Wikipedia, Gradesaver, Shmoop, eNotes, 123helpme, and etc.

Assignment:

Write a short essay (750 words) that defends a thesis you developed through a close critical reading/analysis of one (or two) literary works listed on the syllabus and supported by at least two secondary sources. Do not confuse “critical analysis” with “plot summary”; the goal is to develop, sustain, and advance a thesis based on a critique of the primary text but supported in part by at least two secondary source. A list of potential topics is below.

1. Analyze key characters from one or more plays in this book. What motivates these characters? Point to specific moments in the play to make your case.
2. Write an analysis essay in which you single out an element of one or more plays for examination- character, plot, setting, theme, dramatic irony, tone, language, symbolism, conventions, or any other element. Try to relate this element to the play as a whole. For example, “The Function of Teiresias in Oedipus the King,” “Imagery of Poison in Othello,” etc.
3. From a play you have enjoyed, choose a passage that strikes you as difficult, worth reading closely. Try to pick a passage not longer than about 20 lines. Explicate it- give it a close, sentence-by sentence reading- and explain how this small part of the play relates to the whole. For instance, any of the following passages might be considered memorable (and essential to their plays):

• Othello’s soliloquy beginning “It is the cause, it is the cause, my soul” (Othello, 5.2.1-22)
• Oedipus to Teiresias, speech beginning “Wealth, power, craft of statesmanship!” (Oedipus the King, 1.163-86)

Format. In an academic community that communicates effectively, proper formatting is a mark both of one’s ability to follow instructions and of one’s willingness to interact with one’s colleagues in an accepted, mutually understandable manner. Therefore, it is important that you follow proper MLA format in producing your texts, particularly as you cite your sources. Failure to do so will lower your grade.

Grading Criteria. I’ll be looking for a clearly defined, arguable thesis and a logical organization of paragraph structures in each paper. I’ll also look at grammar, usage, mechanics, and so forth, as well as at your use of secondary material.

Paper Submission. Upload your paper to the Turnitin assignment link in the appropriate Learning Modules folders.You must submit your papers electronically through CANVAS on or before the due date. No late papers will be accepted. If you do not turn your assignment in by the deadline, then you will not get credit for the assignment. You will not be allowed to make up or redo essays for any reason.

All essays must be submitted in Canvas by 11:59 PM on the Sunday of the week they are due. All submissions are final, so allow yourself plenty of time to draft, revise, edit and upload. Be sure that you upload the correct document. If you upload the wrong document, then the essay is considered late and you will not receive credit. Allow spare time for unforeseen circumstances. If you wait until 11:55 PM to upload your paper, and you have technical difficulties that cannot be resolved by 11:59 PM, then your essay will be considered late and you will not be able to submit the assignment. I will not accept any essays emailed to me for any reason. Even if you email it to me at 12:00 AM on Monday, I will not accept it. Each of us makes promises all of the time, and most promises we keep, but some we don’t. The question this week focus on when a promise is – and is not – enforceable. Said differently, when will the law make a person keep a promise? Choose one of the scenarios below and explain whether or not you think that the promise made is enforceable. The Scenario I chose is,

Keith agrees to transport ceramic figurines from Los Angeles to New York City in his moving truck. What he doesn’t know is that each figurine is filled packets of cocaine.

My response to do this is: The promise that was made by Keith is enforceable according to the legality of it. The law states if it’s in your possession at the time, then it’s yours unless someone confesses to it. If the capacity of the cocaine is high then Keith will be looking at FED time..

3) PEER REVIEW #2 (TANYA)

I decided to discuss the two females who are drinking at a bar and decided to trade a 3-carat diamond ring for a 78 Ford Duster. This agreement is a bilateral contract because both parties promise to do something. It is not enforceable by law because it is an unenforceable agreement which the promise was made verbally by both parties. The verbal agreement posses consideration for Maria and Jennifer to exchange the 3-carat diamond ring for a 78 Ford Duster since each item hold value. In this case of the of them struck a deal. Even though both parties were intoxicated and made an irrational agreement, both ladies are in a jam because they need to honor the verbal contract. Maria and Jennifer were aware of what was going around them, especially if they can drive home drunk, they can honor a verbal agreement. If one of the ladies wants to back out of the contract, one must provide evidence that she did not understand the nature of the agreement or the basis of the deal that was made.
