used to be a insurance sales agent at a health care company over the phone. While looking at the elements of e-business I had experience with customer management (CRM). We would work on computers at our workstation. This would fall under the hardware section of the diagram. I would use email to contact customers and internal employees. This would fall under the information supply chain. I also fell under the supply chain management section because I explained information customers saw on our website. I would also collect payments and process plans. Internally once I filled out an application the information would be electronically sent to our billing department. The sale would go through the approval process and customers would receive their insurance card in the mail. I have also been a customer in the electronic business model by. I purchase items off amazon. This would be considered a shared infrastructure. I have also sold an item an intermediary app called let it go app

2.

I have personally experienced a number of phases through e-business. I have been a consumer of e-business but shopping on multiple platforms such as google.com, staples.com, amazon.com, and many more. I have also been on the other side of planning an e-business. In the experience of e-business planning can be a bit overwhelming. It seems as you have to speak a certain language which is difficult in itself. Only after you fumble through not fully learning the language you will then have to learn about another phase which is SEO, which is just down right tedious. Within building an e-business you also have to take into account multiple aspects of marketing to help your business grow, accounting to make sure that you are making profits or have a plan to make profits, and equally (if not more important) important is customer service. I believe so many good business fail because they do not have good customer service.

As a customer, I can relate to the direct to customer. For over 5 years I have use a company to handle most of B2b customer when they are shopping and/or receiving services from my business

1. Who will have access to the ERP?

2. What do we need out of this new software?

3. How much budget are we willing to spend to begin?

4. Commercial or web based? Will we develop our own software or use another?

5. Is everybody aware of how to use the software or will we need to host a training session?

Address:

1. I do not see open source software as a viable opportunity for a private corporation. Open source allows anybody to interfere with our network. We need a closed network if we wish to grow from within and remain profitable. You can not charge for a software which is given away for free already.

2. Ensure IT has correctly networked all of our systems.

3. We need to begin tracking our marketing to evaluate if the new software is helping.

4. Evaluate 6 months -1 year later if employees enjoy chosen ERP software for possible service change

4.

Questions to ask :

What is budget for the ERP project to get it started and the budget to keep it running?

What is the time line on the ERP project, and when does ABC Corporation need it up and running?

How many departments will be using the ERP and how much data will software be using and keeping?

How many employees are needed for the ERP project, and how many are needed to stay on board after it launches?

Need to discuss

Cooperation from all parties involved with steady, relatively fast, friendly communication with questions, answers, and updates

IT support, training, and availability.

Employee training of the system and software.

Everyone who has access to the ERP system and what are they allow to access, and what they are allowed to access it on, and is working from home an option for some.

Unit III Case Study:

You have been hired as a consultant by your town’s emergency management coordinator to help develop emergency action
plans. Your first task is to assess the hazardous material risks at a local gas station. The station has one 30,000-gallon
underground storage tank compartmentalized to hold 10,000 gallons each for three gasoline grades and one 10,000-gallon
tank for diesel fuel. The station has four pumps, and each one can deliver all four products. Also on site is a 2,500-squarefoot
concrete block building used for the cashier and retail sales of service station and convenience store items.
The station is located at a busy intersection near the center of town. It is adjacent to several other local businesses that do
brisk business during the day. Across the street from the station is a large housing development with an elementary school.
Behind the station is a city park with playgrounds, baseball fields, and a large wooded area.
To complete the assignment, address the components below.
1. Describe three scenarios related to the fuel in the tanks that would require emergency response. The General

4 short questions about Climate and Weather Humanities Assignment Help

1. Read the broadsheet of the Frost Fair in the 1680s and look at the activities on the Thames. What does it tell the modern observer about the effects of “this unparalleled frost”? Can we differentiate between ‘extreme weather’ and climate change

2. Read the Weather Diary of Sir John Wittewronge. From the months you selected, address the following questions:

What observations does Wittewronge make about his local weather?

What are Wittewronge’s concerns or preoccupations in keeping the diary?

What can we learn about the seasons and patterns of life from Wittewronge’s weather diary?

3. The earliest surviving air temperature records in England were made in Oxford, by John Locke in 1666-67. John Wittewronge owned a mercury barometer that measured air pressure. How sustained or anecdotal is this type of evidence? (Wittewronge’s diary and the Macadam reading will help here).

4. Weigh the ‘scientific’ evidence with the evidence based on human records in understanding the climate, weather and climate change (the Frost Fair broadsheet and Behringer and Macadam readings will be helpful here).

Essay 1 reading and writing Humanities Assignment Help

Essay 1 – Family

Context:

This week, we are thinking about “ideal” families and reading about how Americans frequently compare their own families to these ideals. Soto recounts childhood memories of his own family, and Carbone and Cahn present a more academic study of how family and marriage now mean different things for different social groups.

Prompt:

Leo Tolstoy (a Russian novelist) wrote that all happy families are alike, but that each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way. Taking into account your own experience and the two articles we read this week, write an essay that explains what makes a family happy or unhappy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1000 words.
  • In your essay, reference these three sources with quotes and summary:
    • your personal experience (which can be about your own family, or about other families you have observed)
    • Carbone and Cahn
    • Soto
  • Include an introduction, focused body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
  • Do not worry about including a Works Cited page, but be sure to include in-text citations. See the example below.

Tips:

  • It is important to stay focused in this essay. Choose one aspect of family life to focus on. For example, if you think stable relationships make for happy families, write an essay that focuses just on that. If you think that high parental expectations make for unhappy families, focus on that.
  • Include not only quotes from the two articles, but also include some summary of the key points you’re referencing.
  • Be sure to use what you have learned about theses and TEAL paragraphs.
  • Use evidence and examples from the text and your experience to support your ideas.
  • Here is an example of how you might use evidence to support your ideas. This is a body paragraph:

Happiness is not about having a “perfect’ family. In Gary Soto’s story “Looking for Work,” the narrator compares his Mexican-American family to the middle class white family in the television show Leave it to Beaver. Unlike in his family, the kids in that fictitious family “hopped into bed with kisses and woke to glasses of fresh orange juice and to a father sitting before his morning coffee while the mother buttered his toast” (22). It is clear that the narrator’s family is not like this, as he is painfully aware, but still he is loved. We see his mother’s love when she pushes him to go outside at the end of the story: “‘It’s still light,’ she said. ‘Later you’ll bug me to let you stay out longer. So go on'” (24). The narrator’s mother loves him, and that is what makes his a happy family.

My family also did not look like Leave it to Beaver, but our love for each other made us happy….

    Overview

Write a 3–4-page analysis about the role of unions in the twenty-first century.
Some argue that the traditional role of the union in protecting the worker has been usurped by significant legislation protecting the worker against discrimination, unsafe work conditions, and unfair pay. Others point out that unions remain indispensable for several reasons, including that “at-will” employment remains the law of the land and that most workers can be fired for any reason.

    Context

“The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles” (Marx & Engels, 1888).

The three primary federal laws regulating union activity are the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) (1935), also known as the Wagner Act; the Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA) (1947), also known as the Taft-Hartley Act; and the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (1959), also known as the Landrum-Griffith Act. These acts reflect the attitude of the times in which they were enacted, regarding unions and the power struggle between unions and management.
Historically, the legislation, laws, and labor movements at both state and federal levels have experienced periods of harmony and conflict. A study of union history shows how legislation and lawmaking can be affected by popular opinion. In the early nineteenth century, it was not uncommon for any group employee action to be labeled a criminal conspiracy. The change in the view of the law from a focus on association to the means affected to achieve an objective occurred with the decision in Commonwealth v. Hunt (1842). This case was considered a milestone in the labor movement; however, it did not settle the legal issues, and the courts continue to struggle with the legality of union activities. The public view of the violence and unrest accompanying labor actions was often that employers were responsible, particularly in cases where strikebreakers were hired. Public sentiment and unsatisfactory common law led to the passage of the NLRA in 1935.
The Assessment 5 Context document contains additional information about labor relations, covering the following topics:

    • National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
    • Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA).
    • Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA).

Poetry Analysis Writing Assignment Help

Review the chapter “Writing about Literature” (pp. 1089-1142) in your Backpack Literature textbook and model the format of your essay on the annotated sample essays in the chapter.

ASSIGNMENT: Write a 1000-word critical analysis using one of the poetry analysis prompts below. For this paper assignment, we will continue to work with scholarly sources in order to use what specialists in the genre of poetry have to say and to build upon their work to frame our own views in our our own academic writing. From the Graff/Birkenstein readings (see “Introduction” and “Chapters 3-5” in the Course Documents area of the course) you’ve learned how to effectively read, quote, and respond to sources by furthering the conversation — by either agreeing with a difference, by disagreeing with reasons, or agreeing and disagreeing simultaneously. Now it is time to demonstrate what you’ve learned by critically reading scholarly sources, effectively framing quotations from those sources, and presenting your original viewpoint by using one of the three ways to respond. For this assignment, you should search the TROY Library databases, identify two scholarly articles about the poetry you’ve selected, and frame and respond to at least one quotation from each of the two scholarly sources that address the specific topic from the prompts below.

Prompt #1: Compare and contrast any two poems in Backpack Literature that treat a similar theme. Let your comparison bring you to an evaluation of the poems. Which is the stronger, more satisfying one? Essay Outline: The introduction should identify the poems under consideration, their authors, and any necessary background information that is significantly relevant to the main focus of your essay. The introduction should conclude with your original idea (your thesis) presented as a response to an effectively framed quotation from one of the scholarly sources you found in the Troy Library databases (use the templates for introducing, explaining, and framing quotations in Graff/Birkenstein’s Chapter Three — pp. 42-50). Body paragraphs should support and develop your thesis with specific references to the poems, bolstered by effective responses to your scholarly articles. Use the templates in Graff/Birkenstein for introducing, explaining, and framing a quotation (Chapter Three — pp. 42-50) and the templates for responding to sources in Graff/Birkenstein’s Chapter Four — pp. 55-66. Be sure to clarify what you “say” from what your source “says” by using the templates from Graff/Birkenstein’s Chapter Five (“Distinguishing What You Say from What They Say” — pp. 68-75). Your conclusion should place your original argument within a larger, meaningful context for your reader.

Prompt #2: Compare and contrast any two poems by a single poet in Backpack Literature. Look for two poems that share a characteristic thematic concern. Some examples might include Mortality in the work of Emily Dickinson, Women’s Issues in the work of Sylvia Plath, or Nature in the work of Robert Frost, just to give you an idea of possible topics. See the Index on pp. 1179-1187 for a listing of works grouped by author to explore multiple poems by a single poet. Essay Outline: The introduction should identify the poet under consideration, the poems, and any necessary background information that is significantly relevant to the main focus of your essay. The introduction should conclude with your original idea (your thesis) presented as a response to an effectively framed quotation from one of the scholarly sources you found in the Troy Library databases (use the templates for introducing, explaining, and framing quotations in Graff/Birkenstein’s Chapter Three — pp. 42-50). Body paragraphs should support and develop your thesis with specific references to the play, bolstered by effective responses to your scholarly articles.

SOURCE CITATION: Your essay must properly cite the poems and the two required scholarly sources. Correct source usage consists of two elements: (1) brief in-text citations for any idea or passage that is not your original idea; and (2) a properly formatted list of all Works Cited at the end of the essay. Your Writers Reference textbook contains sections on evaluating and using sources and avoiding plagiarism. Email me with any questions about allowable use.

FORMAT: The essay must conform to MLA standards: double-space, twelve-point font (Times New Roman or Courier), and one-inch margins on all pages. Your Writers Reference textbook contains sections on MLA format instructions and models.

  1. Estimate the number of personal motor vehicles in your city or state.
What is the total number of miles driven each year? How much
revenue is raised per vehicle per year for each 1 cent/gallon tax?
Assume that the average vehicle achieves 25 miles per gallon in fuel
    economy.
  2. A state has a population of 17 million people and an average
ownership of 1.1 cars per person, each driven an average of 12,000
mi/year, at an average fuel economy of 24 mi/gal of gasoline (mpg).
Officials estimate that an additional $60 million per year in revenue
will be required to improve the state’s highway system, and they have
proposed an increase in the gasoline tax to meet this need. Determine

(a) Determine the volume of traffic across the bridge.

(b) If a toll of 25 cents is added, what is the volume across the bridge?
What volume would be expected with a 50 cent increase?

(c) A tollbooth is to be added, thus reducing the travel time to cross
the bridge. The new cost function is C = 50 + 0.2V. Determine the
volume of traffic that would cross the bridge.

(d) Determine the toll to yield the highest revenue for demand and

found from past experience that the daily traffic volume will decrease
by 400 veh/day for each 25¢ increase in toll. Therefore, if x is the
increase in toll in cents/veh, the volume equation for veh/day is
    V = 4500 − 400 (x / 25), and the new toll/veh would be T = 125 + x.
In order to maximize revenues, what would the new toll charge be per

keeper studies can be identified using handy Rapid Critical Appraisal checklists consisting of a set of simple but important questions.

Find a quantitative study not more than 5 years talking about “Constipation in elderly patients”.

Answer these questions about the article:

  1. Why was the study done? Make sure the study is directly relevant to the clinical question.
  2. What is the sample size? Size can and should vary according to the nature of the study. Since determining a valid minimum sample size in a single study can be difficult, taking into account multiple studies is beneficial. The answer to this question alone should not remove a study from the appraisal process.
  3. Are instruments of the variables in the study clearly defined and reliable? Make sure the variables were consistently applied throughout the study and that they measured what the researchers said they were going to measure.
  4. How was the data analyzed?Make sure that any statistics are relevant to the clinical question.
  5. Were there any unusual events during the study? If the sample size changed, for example, determine whether that has ramifications if you wish to replicate the study.
  6. How do the results fit in with previous research in this area? Make sure the study builds on other studies of a similar nature.
  7. What are the implications of the research for clinical practice? Ask whether the study addresses a relevant and important clinical issue.
